Challenge update - 10/8/2008
The Gamerscore Challenge titled Shea Stadium - R.I.P. is over... and MysticWeirdo has been proclaimed the winner... However don't get too comfortable... we just found out the princess is in another castle... err... wait... wrong challenge.
When you count it up on the final day, all 14 challengers gained 1182 points. dandl318 added 612, Misha LinGhan added 180, salazaar99 added 150, Millhill added 130, and MysticWeirdo added 110. A special congrats and thanks to the 13 other competitors.
Challenge update - 10/7/2008
After a long day of gaming yesterday, here's where we ended up: MysticWeirdo is out in front for the time being by putting up 45 points. When you count it up, all 14 challengers gained 382 points. Millhill added 170, dandl318 added 77, salazaar99 added 60, MysticWeirdo added 45, and Misha LinGhan added 30. If I were you, I would keep my eye on Millhill... Today's gain is only a hint of what is possible.
So who do you think is going to pull it out? Check back tomorrow!
Challenge update - 10/6/2008
Here is where it's at: MysticWeirdo made a push last night and comes out on top today by tacking on 290 points. All 14 participants combined, they put up a total gain of 785 points. MysticWeirdo added 290, Misha LinGhan added 200, salazaar99 added 170, Mr Arrow added 70, Nopfed added 30, and ShadowNinja98 added 25. There are still 2 days left so anything can happen. Challenge update - 10/5/2008
After a long day of gaming yesterday, here's where we ended up: Cisco14 is the current favorite and is confident enough to turn in zero new points. Overall, the 14 total challengers put up a total of 830 points, so at least people are competing! MysticWeirdo added 260, salazaar99 added 140, Nopfed added 100, Millhill added 90, Mr Arrow added 65, ShadowNinja98 added 60, dandl318 added 50, RexPower added 35, and BooTs44 added 30. So in the 'Biggest gain' category, MysticWeirdo is obviously the winner... I would be looking over your shoulder if I was Cisco14...

ShadowNinja98 added 70, MysticWeirdo added 50, Cisco14 added 45, dandl318 added 40, salazaar99 added 20, and Misha LinGhan added 20. So in the 'Biggest gain' category, ShadowNinja98 is obviously the winner... I would be looking over your shoulder if I was Cisco14...
Don't freak out... plenty of time left! 4 whole days! Ready your breakfasts and eat hearty...for tonight, we dine on achievement points!

Oh no! Today was big fun! I see numbers! Cisco14 gave up the social life to get the lead by gaining 280 points. All 14 participants combined, they put up a total gain of 970 points. Cisco14 added 280, dandl318 added 215, MysticWeirdo added 180, salazaar99 added 140, Misha LinGhan added 135, and Mr Arrow added 20. Everyone can take comfort in the fact that there are 5 days left to compete. It ain't over till it's over! That's it for today... time to go make the donuts.

And they are off! Place your bets! The Gamerscore Challenge known as 'Shea Stadium - R.I.P.' is in action with 14 people duking it out. I am sure everyone is pounding away on their easy achievements to jump into the lead! This could go all the way to the wire with some pro-level gaming. Good luck!

I guess it'd be cool for Torre to win away from the Yankees, and Manny to stick it to the Sox... but NOT WITH THE DODGERS!! lol I just find it hard to root for them while being a die-hard SF Giants fan. :/

Glad someone broke the ice on this challenge :)
With the Mets out of it I was pulling for the Cubbies to end their century of misery. That way next year when the Mets have a bullpen, I won't feel bad when they boot the Cubs out of the playoffs.
Since it looks like the Dodgers are going to win, I'm going to root for them for two reasons:
1) I want Joe Torre to win and stick it to the Yankees.
2) I want Manny to return to Boston and crush the Red Sox.
If those two things happen it would be a pretty cool offseason.
Ok, fine... I'll break the silence lol I went ahead and took the lead a lil bit this time, probably gonna slow down when I 1K Madden 08 this weekend. : )
I didn't know Shea Stadium was going bye-bye... hmm, let's u know how much attention I pay to the Mets :D
Sorry BooTs, the Cubbies are done. No way they will win two games in LA. :( There's always next year buddy. (I HATE the Dodgers by the way, with a passion! lol)
