Challenge update - 7/2/2012
The Gamerscore Challenge titled JB330 & ThrR4nMyWolfpak Present Hot Spot Challenge #4 is over... and lausdomini has been proclaimed the winner... However don't get too comfortable... we just found out the princess is in another castle... err... wait... wrong challenge.
On the final day, the 11 challengers put up a total of 1295 points. UberToast added 430, JB330 added 345, ThrR4nMyWolfpak added 325, lausdomini added 120, BoZack added 55, and MrGompers added 20. A special congrats and thanks to the 10 other competitors.
Challenge update - 7/1/2012
Another day, another long list of achievement points. Let's add it all up! The competition is heating up as lausdomini jumped in front of Tandar1 by tacking on a jaw-dropping 1,488 points! Unstoppable!Overall, the 11 total challengers put up a total of 2603 points, so at least people are competing! lausdomini added 1,488, UberToast added 630, BoZack added 145, MrGompers added 125, JB330 added 90, ThrR4nMyWolfpak added 90, MyFryHole added 20, and THEeskEMO added 15. So who do you think is going to pull it out? Check back tomorrow!
Challenge update - 6/30/2012
Another day, another long list of achievement points. Let's add it all up! Tandar1 swung the whooping stick and took the lead and managed to do it without gaining any points. All 11 participants combined, they put up a total gain of 1685 points. lausdomini added 945, ThrR4nMyWolfpak added 450, MyFryHole added 75, UberToast added 65, JB330 added 60, Wedgemaster added 50, BoZack added 20, MrGompers added 15, and Elem3ntal80 added 5. So yeah... lausdomini's gamerscore jumped quite a bit eh? People better start looking over their shoulders.
Just remember, 2 days might sound like a lot of time, but it really isn't. The excitement continues tomorrow!
Challenge update - 6/29/2012
Another day, another long list of achievement points. Let's add it all up! Tandar1 gave up the social life to get the lead by putting up 665 points. All 11 participants combined, they put up a total gain of 1200 points. Tandar1 added 665, ThrR4nMyWolfpak added 185, JB330 added 175, MyFryHole added 65, MrGompers added 30, BoZack added 30, lausdomini added 20, UberToast added 20, and Elem3ntal80 added 10. Lets look at the numbers from yesterday: Tandar1 is out in front for the time being by tacking on 525 points. All 11 participants combined, they put up a total gain of 765 points. Tandar1 added 525, ThrR4nMyWolfpak added 125, Wedgemaster added 25, MyFryHole added 25, UberToast added 20, JB330 added 15, MrGompers added 10, BoZack added 10, Elem3ntal80 added 5, and lausdomini added 5. Everyone can take comfort in the fact that there are 4 days left to compete. It ain't over till it's over! Check back tomorrow for some hard-hitting challenge action!
Challenge update - 6/27/2012
Hold on tight! Here we go!! Forsooth! An ill wind blows news of JB330's horn of a Gamerscore Challenge ringing true. 11 have answered its beckoning call, dressing in the arms of their ancestors to venture forth in battle. Which titles are people going to use first? The hard ones with big points? The easy ones with small points? This could go all the way to the wire with some pro-level gaming. Good luck!

Sweeeet, my lack of scoring worked! JB, your sequence of events was pretty close, but it was more me laying in my tent trying to get that one bar of service to get my Super Monkey Ball achievement to register, to no avail.
I might of scored 50 points, but guess I was truly in the middle of nowhere in northeast WI. There was only dirt roads in all directions for 10 miles to get to our campsite on the mighty Peshtigo River.
Thanks for the challenge! I will take the XBLA version and add it to my list of unplayed arcade games.

How exciting! This epic battle of wits went down to the wire as Elem3ntal80 and THEeskEMO battled it out in a war of un-scoring!
In the 11th hour THEeskEMO throws in The Simpsons game and prepares to press Start. Elem3ntal80 quickly pulls over his kayak and whips out the Windows Phone. THEeskEMO hears of this activity and races for the button.
But wait!
Elem3ntal80 is actually using his phone for talking and is on the line with MS support. If he can get one of the competitors reset he'll be sitting pretty. "Come on!" he yells, "There is no way this guy can complete 30+ games in 1 day! His name is ....." Just then a secret science lab hidden in the woods explodes and the debris punctures Elem3ntal80's kayak causing it to sink. He is quickly whisked away by the rapids.
THEeskEMO breathes a sigh of relief and resumes pressing the button at a normal pace when suddenly the lights go out. In an effort to make out Elem3ntal80's gurgling the MS operator spills his coffee, causing a short circuit over the entire Pacific Northwest.
THEeskEMO screams into the darkness as Elem3ntal smiles with delight, in fact he is so delighted that he doesn't see the waterfall until it is too late. "Oh noes!"

Congrats to Lausdomini for winning the challenge. Will the next Skyline be delayed until this one finishes?

I desperately need a new Lego game. My son makes me play Lego Indy almost every night.
Well hi there.
LEGO Batman 2 is pretty fun, what little I've played so far. My son has been playing a little bit almost every day since we got it last week...but alas, I've been stuck at work most of the time. :) I played through a couple of story levels and they're pretty fun. They made the characters talk in this one, which at first I wasn't sure about, but they have some good writing so it's pretty funny to hear the banter...especially across series, so hearing Lex Luthor and the Joker commiserate about their nemesises (nemisii ?) or to see brooding Batman interact with boy scout Superman.
Pretty fun.
We're looking forward to LEGO Lord of the Rings this fall also.
I think Wedgemaster needs to introduce himself. How is LEGO Batman 2? My son and I still play the first one together practically every week.
It has been discussed and the answer is no. I was okay with it but the majority rules.
Is it stackable? You should clearly give out both copies if it is. ;D

Depends on if my skyline team will let me build or not. I wanted to build every day until level 100 but they started an uprising and demanded I let them have some of the spot light.
I could be ruined forever. I can't even think about any achievements except one each day to streak save. Even the daily ones bring me heartache because I think to myself that could have been an easy one for build day. :)
It's limbo time! The Hot Spot for this challenge is 10th place.
If Wolfpak or myself finish 10th the Hot Spot will drop to 11th and if we both finish in the bottom 2 spots it will be to 1st place (where that Bozack guy will probably be waiting.)
