I'm probably never going to do this, as you know I like to sell my games when I complete them. You can't sell something that is bound to your account!!

Hope some of you find some things you find interesting.

I will never buy one of these games because of the License issue. If my friend wanted to borrow the game then I would have to give him my gamertag for him to play it.... I will stick to the disc

i liked that Natal allows me to navigate through my xbox menus, like using force powers to change the screen! flailing my arms and legs around to play a game though......i think not!

I will not be getting any of them. While I think the idea is good in an 'Going Green' way, what happens if you get your account banned like my son did? He lost all of the games that where linked to his account. Another thing that comes to mind, what happens when the next gen concole comes out? Can I still get and play them on that console?

yeha, if i can pay the same amount(or less) at a store and have an actual hard copy of the game, a manual, and a case so i can take it wherever and/or sell/trade in the future, who would actually get these

i think this will just fail

If your in the preview program there are already somes games up on the marketplace, they are viva pinata, oblivion, need for speed carbon, mass effect, lego star wars the complete saga, cod2 and assasin's creed. They're all price at £19.99 so i assume they'll be $29.99 for you guys, i can't really see anybody buying them at these prices

Amen!

yep, I have a hard enough time justifying XBLA titles to myself, no way I'm doing full digital distros of retail titles, they can sod off over in that direction... away from the punch and pie, cuz this is not welcome!

only way this will float like anything other than a lead brick (which if your slow, does not float) is if they're going to buy every second hand copy and make these titles a rarity and jack the price of the second hand market... which wouldn't make sense other than saying "told ya' it'd work"

sad but it is inevitable

Not if we, as a community, collectively refuse to buy them. And on that note, collectively refuse the evil that is Natal.

Yes Disbron, I too see it failing unless they bring the prices lower... because obviously who wouldn't want a case and manual if they are able to drive down the street??
jaod Posted - Aug 06 2009 : 11:40:52 AM
joystiq is reporting that the games will be $20-$30.

http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/05/xbox-360-games-on-demand-priced-between-20-30/

They are also saying that Bioshock was revealed at $30.

I'm not sure that any of these games are worth that price unless you can't leave your house.
disbron Posted - Aug 06 2009 : 11:40:51 AM
I believe they already annouced that the price's would be between 20 to 30 dollars. Also you will be able to download game manual through the web site. I think that this will fail due to the fact of prices, the shear amount of space used on Harddrives and there will not be any type of resale for the customers.
SITH RICK Posted - Aug 06 2009 : 11:26:24 AM
i was guessing $20-30 because they are all greatest hits priced that way in stores and original xbox games are $15, you dont think they are really going to sell current generation retail games cheaper than last gen games do you?
Tandar1 Posted - Aug 06 2009 : 11:03:37 AM
I'm very interested on how they will be priced... since you get no case/manual with your purchase.

I'm going to take a guess and say anywhere from $10-$20.

Unless Microsoft just wants more money.... but we all know they aren't like that :P

im guessing that most of these will be $19.99-$29.99 would anyone pay that much for Prey? several of these games are Game Stop under $10.00. im sure Microsoft isnt going to give us any deals on these. Xbox originals are $15.00
