I figured I'd have a little fun and I had a go at making the signature graphic you were working on. I found the same '08 calendar cover image. I cleaned up the image, got rid of the background elements. I found a good clean copy of "The Amazing Spider-Man" logo and I redrew the "Spider-Man' portion in Illustrator so I could add MTL, also recreated the speech bubble. Brought it all back together in Photoshop and here it is. I have everything still layered in Photoshop so if you want the graphic to work on more or if you want me to make any edits there is still full control over the elements in the graphic.
Hmmm, maybe add a 1 px border to it to match the banner you're using above the signature graphic? |

mhm i agree with pauly... add the MTL at the end of spiderman...
I would change the colors and text of the myxboxcan blog...
but the MTL would be frickin awesome if you can pull it off! |
