You may notice that your blog has no information since 10/25. This is because the server for the site experienced connection loss with, well, nearly everything related to the Microsoft Data Feed. In the process, other server related issues were discovered resulting in the only functioning part of the site being these forums.

The current owners of the site, CrispyGamer (whom bought GamerDNA), are, thanks to an entirely community driven outpouring of emails, taking steps to repair the site. Exactly what the steps are, or how long they will take is unknown. Despite the canned response to your emails, your voices were heard and we have a response.

In the future, someone far more official then I will make an announcement regarding the work being done on the backend of the site. Until then, your continued patience is greatly appreciated. I can only speak for myself, but as someone that has done a lot for the last few years to keep this site going, I appreciate all that you, yes you reading this post, have done in the last few days. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

No you did not. The reason is that the entire support ticket system was frozen until the hand over is complete. Once the hand over is complete, I am sure that whomever ChangeAgent/Fatty Chubs and/or GamerDNA put in charge will pick up the ball and start running with it. Until we hear something official, I do not expect much to happen.

As far as I know, once something official is announced and the process is in the hands of the new management, then they will be the ones to reply.

I don't need a reply, I was just being petulant. All I wanted was new management. Wish granted!

How big of a server is needed?

So, does this mean Crispy Gamer is out, and new people are coming in who will bring the site back to the way it was?

The future of streaks is not in question. Streak reset requests have gone through the proper channels but right now everything is in a "hold" state until the site is changed over to the new operators. I just ask that you remain patient for now, but yes, any streaks lost in the last few days *will* be restored.

The site has third party support personnel to help with support issues such as streaks. This isn't something that needs handled from the top.

I would say email...

No offense, but I would say forget about your streak...the original owners were barely able to keep up with all the "I lost my streak" requests, so Squidpunch created his Sync tool...now that that's broken AND the site is changing hands, the future of "streaks" is in question.

If I were going to simply "forget about" my nearly 700 day streak it would mean I was done with the site. Especially since I've been going to extra effort to microblog every day I don't earn an achievement after the streak saver stopped working.

If the new owners don't have the time or the inclination to entertain requests of this nature that does not bode well for the future of the site.

Kind of like when a corporate conglomerate buys your small business. One day, you have a middle-class boss who listens when you complain about the quality of the bagels...the next, your boss is China and they don't even give you bagels anymore.

Yeah, blogs are up and running, though I'm going to wait until the process runs completely (meaning all the way to Badges being run through), before I breath a sigh of relief.

Yeah, mine ran for Nov. 4, but it says I didn't play. I suppose that's because there was no information from yesterday for it to go on...perhaps things will get "relatively" back to normal by tomorrow.

Yeah same problem with me, saying I didn't play, and I've been extra careful to microblog on days I don't earn achievements since the Streak Saver is down. Looks like some people did register as playing though.

That update actually sounds promising. Dedicated resources for 360voice would be great.

Nope, nothing was organized, which is what made it so very awesome. Just a bunch of people taking it upon themselves to send in emails to express their concern.

When things got to the point where it did not look like a solution was coming with CG doing something I figured an email couldn't hurt. Was the least I could do for all the time I have spent on this site. I am glad the emails helped.

Mine was basically along the lines that they ahd a good site and with just a little work and attention could be even better and bring them in even more money.
