Remaking and reopening this thread to give some insight as to what games you think are missing. All suggestions are looked at so don't feel like posting in this thread does nothing :D

The First Templar should be part of Action RPG in my opinion.

Depends. Assassin's Creed is glitchy with collections, but, clearing cache and trying again fixes all issues and the game can be 100% completed (just requires extra effort). So, it is in a genre.

If it is a universal flaw in the code, and the achievement cannot be gotten by anyone, ever, then it would not be included.

Perhaps Crysis 2 and CSI: Fatal Conspiracy are better examples. They have achievements that are known to glitch, but not always, and can be obtained on a second playthrough. Those games are in genres.

WWE All Stars is THQ too right? There's a chance those servers might come back with new buyers too. We should probably keep an eye on all the THQ games between now and the next update.

The new owners of homefront have stated they do not intend to keep the servers closed, they were unaware of it until gamers emailed them, so they should be back online soon...unless they have changed their minds.

WWE All stars needs removing, servers closed last month.

Cartoon Network PTE XL seems to be missing the EU stacking.

Both back into rockstar because the servers are back online.

More than likely, we will keep an eye on it. If they stay up, I am sure the badge team would be willing to include them back into the genre with the next update.

Either way it is inconsistent. What about the price is right? That is kinect enabled and has kinect related achievements. There could be more examples but that one jumped out at me.

All that is is simply the title of the game in the database, whether it says kinect or not doesn't affect the game or the GS in the database. Its just a title, which we have no control over. Its what MS has in its database.

huh? so MS has the games tagged as (KNCT)? that makes no sense at all. Anyway...is the 10% Kinect rule still in effect and if it is these games don't count towards it right?

I don't even think the Kinect rule is mentioned in discussion anymore.

Then my points made are irrelevant.

I think the fitness genre broke the rule...

That's the inverse rule, only one or two games that don't require Kinect.

In the near future, everybody will have Kinect!!!! Not sure what's going to happen with those people in small rooms, but I think the field of vision has been improved, so maybe that won't matter.

Split/Second required you to do "stunts" to gain your power ups, like drifting, passing cars, catching air, etc. After that, you could use it to get kills with the environment or a speed boost. It's closer to Mario Kart than Forza, but it isn't really a kart game. I wouldn't call it out of place in Kart, but it is definitely a better fit in Arcade.

For me, the things that define the two genres are:

-kart racers have power-ups that you pick up as you race around

-arcade racers challenge you to pull off stunts/maneuvers to earn boost and may have cut scenes when you reach certain points on the track (NFS:The Run does both, for example).

In Split-Second, powerplays can be initiated(and occur) only at specific points on the track and only if you have done enough drifting and drafting to fill your meter.

In Blur, power ups are picked up from specific spawn points on the track and can be initiated anywhere. That is to say you can drop a mine or launch a shunt (homing missile) at any time.

To me, the Split-Second mechanic is just combining two traditional arcade mechanics: boost and cut-scenes triggered at certain points of the map. So Split-Second should stay in arcade and Blur should move to Karts.

Wasn't sure where to put this but this will do...Babel Rising and Child of Eden are both listed as Kinect games, when they aren't. Both can be played and completed 100% with a controller as far as I know.

But you can also use Kinect to play/complete them, hence the game title is listed as "Kinect" in them.
