So I haven't posted in here in a long time. Some of you might remember me though from all the challenges I used to enter....If you don't know me, then hi---I'm a 36 year old kick ass female gamer that has been playing since Frogger first came out on the Atari. I'm married to a guy that used to make fun of my nightly gaming until I finally got him sucked into COD, now he has his own Xbox and we each have our gaming setups on different sides of the living room. Seriously, we do.
Anyway----FINALLY, yesterday I broke 100K!!!! So happy to finally have reached it. Yes, I'm an achievement whore. I played Hannah Montana and if I ever had to play it again I would gouge my own eyeballs out. I even played Brave for that 500pt achievement. lol I love hearing that little bleep that indicates I've unlocked one, I can't help it. It's satisfying. I like having other goals in a game besides beating it.
When I first started out gaming on the 360 three and a half years ago I never---ever looked back. I'd always been a Sony owner so going to a 360 at first felt like a betrayal. Now I love my 360. On my second one now, the drive got burnt out in the first one....
I'm not trying to toot my own horn here, just really excited because 100K seemed so far away when I first started. Now that I'm here 200K is a LONG, LONG way away...and doesn't sound as satisfying as hitting 100K. But onwards I shall go. (I still think that when you hit a 100K barrier that Microsoft should reward you with at least 1600 points for your loyalty.) |

Chrome, you are a dad now right? I'm sure that takes a lot of your time. I'm lucky because I write books and sell Avon so I'm home most of the time. Great for my gaming, bad for my writing some days. lol |

Yea, but the next xbox will be out long before then. I've had mine for a year and a half and only have 30000 and really dont want to play rubbish games, they make me want to smash things haha |

You would be surprised how quick it can go once you get involved in competitions. It took me about 2 years to hit 100k, so its not out of reach  |

Yeah hackers/modders are lame. They destroyed my favorite game (COD4) with their stupid infections and since Activision has our money they don't care to fix it since they want us to buy the next game. Same reason EA shuts down servers. |

Thank you CK. Glad to join the 100K club. :-) FINALLY. I need to be more of a completionist though. Maybe I'll work on that. I just can't stand games where you have to collect things....lol |

Thanks! :-) What does hax mean? Hacker? That a whole different topic I could go on and on about. The idiots that hack COD because they aren't good enough to play it any other way. Grrrrrr. :-p That and the crappy servers that ever single COD seem to have. |

That's a pretty respectable time frame. I'm a month shy of 5 years to get to 175k but at least 50k of that has been this year thanks to Skyline.

Thanks Facial La Fleur, I've had my 360 for 3 1/2 years. So yeah, it's taken me a while to reach 100K. I have a hard time playing other games anymore because my family and friends bug the crap out of me to play COD with them every night.
I actually sort of look like my Avatar. :-p |

Thanks guys, and I'm glad a few of you remember me! lol It's nice to be back. I just totally burnt myself out on challenges there for a while. When I get in one I give it everything I have & I was just worrying too much about doing well.....it was taking the fun out of it for me. Not sure what everyone is playing right now but I just got done finishing out The Darkness II. I had a lot of fun playing it. I also need to dig out my 360v t-shirt for the badge....I've had it for probably a year now and never did the picture thing. |

Congrats!! I know how you feel as I just hit 100K a few months back. I'll tell you it gets easier. It feels different for some reason, I can't explain it, but it does. I just passed 112K and still climbing. Glad to see you back!!! |
