How to use the URL "Forum Code" (as they put it) isn't even described on the page that tells you about the other codes.
How to format text with Bold, Italic, Quote, etc...

Seems like you need to add double-quotes (") at the beginning and at the end of the URL to get the URL BBcode (Forum Code) to get URLs to work.
Other message boards don't work this way, but whatever.
