Here are some common support questions. Feel free to add more if you think they will be helpful to others. If you don't see your question listed, email us at support@360voice.com.
1. I just registered. Why do I not have a blog yet? It takes two full days for your blog to start appearing. This is because we have to gather enough data to see when things have changed. The first day puts all of your game data into our system. The next day allows us to see what has changed and generate your first blog entry. If you have waited two days and still do not have a blog entry, try waiting three... if you happen to register right at the cut off for the nightly blog creation, it will take an extra day.
2. I just registered, but I never received an activation email. To prevent spam accounts we require you validate an email address. If you do not receive this activation email, it is possible that your ISP spam blocked it or the email was some how prevented from going through.
To have your account manually activated, please send an email to mail@360voice.com explaining that you did not receive the activation email and we can manually activate you. Please supply your email address and gamertag for reference.
3. My blog is not seeing any of the games I play. First, make sure that your gamercard privacy settings are set to "Everyone" in the Xbox Live dashboard. If it is not set to Everyone, our processor cannot see what you play.
Second, the 360voice blog does not see original/backwards compatible Xbox games, only Xbox 360 games. Games like Halo 2 will not appear in your blog, only 360 games. The blog also does NOT see retail demos. It will not see arcade demos either (because those do not show on your gamercard)... retail demos do not show on your card and therefore are not blogged about either.
If you want to get demos in your blog, use the "Blog a game" link in your blog settings or in the left nav of your blog page when logged in.
4. Can the blog see anything else I do? Movies? Music? Etc? No... the only thing we can see is the 360 games that you play. Everything else is a carefully crafted illusion!! Muhahaha!
5. Can I delete my blog? Yes, log in to your account. Go to your settings page. You will see a link for "Shutdown your blog" Click the button and never look back. :(
6. I paid the 800 points to change my gamertag. What happens to my blog? If you change your gamertag, simply e-mail us at support@360voice.com with your old and new gamertag (be sure to be clear which is which) and we will rename your account. Depending on when you notify us and when we change it over there might be a lapse in service so you may miss a day or two.
7. I know that I played yesterday but my blog says I didn't! What happened? We honestly don't have as great of control over this as we would like. Here are some of the reasons:
1. We only have LASTPLAYED DATE If you start playing a game before midnight PST and you finish playing after midnight PST, the lastplayed date will be for the next day. Therefore it will not count as a played game in your blog until the following blog entry. If you are on a streak, this will cause you to lose it! To prevent this, always play multiple games per day and always finish at least one of them well before midnight PST.
2. Not logged in to Xbox Live You might lose your connection to Xbox Live and not notice. Always make sure that you are logged in BEFORE you load the game and logged in after you exit to the dashboard. This will provide the best scenerio for your game data to be captured.
3. Network problems You might be logged in to Xbox Live but your wireless is running super slow... or your router is flacky. This will mean that even though you play, the data never makes it off your box up to the Live servers. You can try rebooting your router in these cases.
4. Not enough time to write the data to Live If you power off your Xbox from within the game, sometimes there is not enough time for the data to get to the servers before the power is off. Always exit the game to the dashboard, then power off the Xbox.
Because we are using a web service that MS provides, the resolution is fairly inaccurate... but we are doing the best we can to make it as consistent as possible.
5. Feed delays from Microsoft It has happened in the past that there are delays that prevent your Xbox.com profile from updating after you play your games. You can see this if you go to your Xbox.com profile and look at your recent games list. Sometimes it might be out-of-date. If your feed is out of date, than we won't be able to see the games for the blog entry. In the past, Microsoft has been notified and fixed this... If it looks like your game data is a day or so behind, let us know and we can ask our MS contacts to look into it.
8. How do I add games that I own and games I want to play? Log in to your forum account (you need one!) and then click the "settings" link in the upper right, then click the "game list" and toggle the games you own and want to play!
9. How do I use the forums? Anything I need to know? The forum software we use is called SNITZ. If you have questions about it, check out the Forum FAQ that comes with the software. If you have other questions, just post in the support forum. |

| The feed from xbox only shows the previous 16 games played, so when you first sign up thats all you start out with, you can do a manual sync by installing and running the sync on Squidpunch's app in here, it will take one day after submitting to process your data. |

SO what do we do if our streak was ended even though we played online yesterday? I played Gears of War for 2 hours, then downloaded all 3 map packs for COD WaW afterwards.
68 days down the drain cause it didn't register me playing....... |

Make your own thread in support saying your circumstance, and someone with the power should be around to help you out.
On another note, can someone either delete this thread or lock it? There's a more informative FAQ that has been stickied :P |

| Can we just make a pic that says, "Here's your sign" with a link on it so it will auto direct them to the FAQ page. That way if they want to fix their problem and it's standard stuff, it will be obvious. Which will in turn make people start looking and reading before asking because nobody wants a "Here's your sign" post. 8) |

There's some legit questions in this thread that should be added.
I'm in the situation where I have 1000/1000 in a game, but the site is detecting 995/1000 and I'm not 100% sure what to do myself. (I don't see how the sync tool will help me with old games that I've played). |

| The sync tool will correct any missing data, it checks data title by title against your live.xbox.com profile and populates any discrepancies/changes in an entry to get processed with the following days data. If you have the title, pop it in for a few minutes, give live a chance to see and update your last played date and it should be updated that way as well. |

So I completed Hexic on the 15th(full 200 finally yay!) and for whatever reason voice still has me marked as not having earned the last achievement.
I had the blog turned off since December since my console was in for RROD repair and I was playing for a couple of weeks before I turned it back on. It updated all the rest of my games but not that last Hexic achievement :( I tried loading the game again to no avail...
It hasn't fallen off the top 16 yet (it's currently #5) so what gives? |

Download and run the Streak Saver using the option to sync all your data, wait for the next day's data pull, and then BAM! Should have one hell of a completion according to the site. |

downloaded it, ran it... and it still isn't updated :(
I've been going though and loading up the game between plays of other games to try and trigger it too and it hasn't helped... |

When did you run the sync tool? The last step ("wait for the next day's data pull") could take longer than you'd think since the jobs seem to be running slow lately. If you ran it yesterday, for example, the site wouldn't be updated yet because even though it's almost 19:00PDT, today's blogs still haven't been completed and game stats usually finish after the blogs do.
When you ran the tool did you check the output and confirm that it was showing the full 200 points for Hexic? I checked your Xbox.com profile and confirmed that it shows you having completed the game but strangely, though you say you have been loading the game repeatedly trying to get the completion to register, both Xbox.com and MyGamerCard.net list the Last Played Date as the 14th.
Are you playing a game when you load it or are you simply loading the game and then quitting to Dashboard without actually starting a game? If the latter, you can try playing a game (just play poorly so it ends quickly) to see if that gets it to update the played date.
It seems logical to think that the reason 360V hasn't updated your stats for Hexic is because, based on the last played date, you haven't played the game again since it last updated. |

I ran the tool on the 27th... so yeah it's had plenty of time. I don't remember what the output said.
As for loading the game I've just been loading it up and then quitting back to the dashboard, that's strange that it says the last play date was on the 14th, because if you noticed it's listed as the 2nd to last game played, and the 3rd to last game (borderlands) has a last play date of the 25.... I'll try actually PLAYING some of it tonight to see if that actually updates the "play date" |

If you get a title update you have to go back to the dashboard and then play it again.
Try letting the game sit for a few minutes.
But I agree with everyone, it's weird that even with running the sync tool (submit gamertag sync button) it's still not updating... something must be wrong. |
