Though its not 'quite' the normal user content, it is still site content...just on the go. Sporting your shirt about is the most visible way to bring the site (and maybe your blog) extra hits and attention. After MightyMango showed me the Zazzle shirt creator a few weeks back I got it quickly in my mind to endear an in joke that a few 360v members and I have over the loss of a streak of mine. My shirt showed up in the mail last week and going to a SF Giants game as an anniversary present from my wife gave me a great opportunity to show it off. (Apologies for the incredibly cheesy smile)
So if you've got a shirt post them pics! Besides its nice to put a face to those handles and voices we play with!

Yeah well Katchoo put the pics up for me online last night and I shot out the post just before my parents and grandparents came over for a Mother's Day lunch.

One of my close friends had decided that she wanted to go to a midnight showing of The Goonies for her birthday (as well as do dinner beforehand). In going out early for her birthday dinner I forgot to fire up the box to keep my streak alive. That alone seems kind of boring, but I found a way to blame my troubles and woes on Corey Feldman. As we ate dinner we talked about the movie we were about to see and there I came privy to the info that we were going to be SEEING Corey Feldman... as in Corey was going to be there talking to us schmucks about the movie and signing autographs, which he was and which he did. The things washed up actors do for money. So because I went and saw Corey Feldman for my friends birthday and he killed my streak I had to commemorate the event the best way I could think of. |
