I picked it up today & played with some buddies for most of the night. I haven't gotten too far into the single player mode yet, but I can say that it is a blast to play. Lots of fun tonight.

Here is my review of NBA Street Homecourt:

The fourth version of the NBA Street franchise makes it debut on the Xbox 360 with NBA Street Homecourt. The 3 on 3 street ball action is a lot of fun. This is one of those games that is great to pick up and play for almost any amount of time. You can play it, turn and turn it off and you don't feel like you're being forced to play to see what happens next like in many other games. The main mode of this game is the Homecourt Challenge mode where you create a team of players and play games of basketball in various courts across the country. Many of the games require you to only score points in a certain way. For example there are shots and dunk only games as well as games that can only be won using a Gamebreaker which is very well done and even uses Herbie Hancock's classic song Rockit when activated. The use of this song fits perfectly into the game. The gameplay is simple yet very fun. The shoulder buttons serve as modifiers to your moves. For example you use X and/or Y to do trick moves however you can modify these moves with the shoulder buttons. There are also some insanely cool dunks you can do like the jump off dunk or the double dunk. Each one looks amazing. The graphics and sound are both well done but the game feels kind of short. There really are not enough modes to keep you that busy. There are still quite a few modes but not really enough. Also the classic street players from the other Street games are missing. So that means no Stretch or any of the other made up over the top characters EA put in the other games. However even with an overall lack of modes the game is still a lot of fun, especially online or with friends on the same Xbox 360.
Pros:
Very fun both online and off.
Insanely cool dunk moves.
Good graphics and sound
Rockit by Herbie Hancock as the Gamebreaker music.
Cons:
Not enough game modes.
Missing the street characters from the previous games.

| this game is an easy oppurtunity for achievements. i got all of them (1000) in 3 days. A very fun game too. |

The Focus of NBA Street Homecourt in single player is building a character and putting his Homecourt (a.k.a Hometown) on the Map... By far the best time I had online is when I used my created player... Yes, you can use your created/juiced characters online! Most people will play with Teams or whatever if you don't have a good Single Player Character, but I enjoyed using mine because I built him to be Top-Notch!
You can only store 3 players but you only get 3 on a team... So with enough patience you could easily build a Dream Team for online use...
BTW, I beat this one fast. I would have to look at my blog to see how many days it took... But it felt fast which is good for a rental, I will pick this one up in a couple months when the used ones are cheap... Until then I will just have to cry for "The Trifecta" Again!
