Capcom just sent word out that the demo that Japan saw before Christmas for Resident Evil 5, will premiere exclusively on the 360 Marketplace in the West, beginning January 26th.
The three level demo, set across two stages - Assembly Place and Shanty Town - is said to support co-op with the AI, split-screen and over Xbox Live, so everyone can sample Resident Evil 5 the way they want.
This announcement also means that the week commencing January 26th will be a fine week indeed for gamers with Fallout 3 DLC and Mirror's Edge DLC set to drop as well. Great start to 2009 if I do say so myself.
they should've just left the japan demo alone, I downloaded it as soon as I heard it was released but didn't have a chance to check it out until after they messed with it... freaks
Wow, I'm shocked they're doing a demo. It usually seems like highly anticipated installments of established franchises bank on making sales off of name recognition and don't steal their own thunder with a demo...
Now I face the dilemma of whether or not I'll actually PLAY the demo...
