I am really enjoying this game. It got very mixed reviews throughout all the gaming magazines - either it was loved, or hated. If you have an extra $50 laying around, pick it up, but only if you like 3PS genre. The game's controls are very picky, and the aiming is a little hard to get used to, but if you continue playing past the uneasiness, I've found it's hard to put down. The graphics and in-game explosions are just insane! For you gamerscore whores, it's about a 20 hour play to get the full 1000 gamerscore. You actually have to beat it level by level to get the full achievements, but a hidden achi is worth 150 points: play for 15 hours... so, there you go.
I recommend this game to all those that like 3PS and have a high-def and quality surround set-up, get this game. It is an experience. At least rent it and play through it once for an easy 250 gamerscore. ;)

hey i like this game but it was nowhere near what i was expecting i thought was going to be loads better to what people where saying bout it

| Yeah, I was amazed to see the differences in ratings from mag. to mag. The highest I saw was 8.5/10 (Play); the lowest I saw was 4.5/10 (on-line site). What gives? One mag. actually went as far as to say, "There is nothing good about this game..." while another said almost the opposite. I only played it for about five minutes at a friend's, but I thought it wasn't too bad. Far better than some of the reviews it was getting. I liked that you could pretty much destroy anything! |

I'll probably pick it up 2nd hand once demand is a bit lower. It really sounds like something I'll enjoy for a bit.. I doubt if I'll complete the hardest difficulty setting for 1 point though  |

The game is ok in MHO. I like it and I just find it hard to play when I have the time. It could also be that my cousin is a 360 hog! The money I was going to use to get another 360 is now going for a new PC since mine died and this laptop is getting old!
Anyway, I think the spells are weird in the way they are controlled and are not fast enough in the heat of battle. Getting the gun out is time consuming and slow. |
