Hi everyone... in order to allow for self-service data syncs with xbox.com (to sync up all your old games) and to help with streaks not being lost, we have a new tool to try:

Let me know how it goes. I will make a broader announcement when a few people tell me it is ok.

Sweet! Will try it now and edit this post to say how it went.
Well, installed it and everything seemed to run fine. Yay!
Question now... the sync I just ran should be evident tomorrow, after all the processes run, since the site already pulled data for today? |

| Yup what MLC said, I would like to know it it updates tomorrow. Cause when I ran it it just mentioned three games updated. I'm looking to see if it fixes the Prince of Persia thing. Cause right now I'm shown both of them listed, but I've only played the Arcade version. |

| yeah the updates are not 100% real time, when you do a gamertag sync - your game data will be updated in the blog processing in the next day. Also when you turn on the streak monitoring, it will lock in a game which will guarantee you do not loose your streak, for the next blog day as well. |

| Well it looks like the requirements are windows. I guess I cannot help out and try this for you. Currently using a Mac. I don't use my pc much because it does not display 360voice properly, it wont show live scores or playing status. |

| Sweet now I can check if I need to play a second game. 99.99% of the time 1 game is enough for me. Still it has a thumbs down for me ATM but I've already gotten achievments but installed this after I got them so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Still thought I should point it out. |

what version of windoze do you have, and are you using a firewall??
Using XP home and its the same with firewalls turned off or on. I use Norton but turning it off doesn't change anything. And turning windows crappy firewalls off doesn't allow it to read the data either. I have just been assuming a port issue. I have a port closed on one of my settings that I need open. Thats about all I can guess. |

| Well been playing Viva Pinata and the streak thing has seen it as it's updated my Gamerscore and Achievements for that game yet it's still showing a red thumbs down saying I've not played. Will edit this after an hour or so once I have another game or two played. |

Did the game update first? Same rules still apply: if it did an update, run some other game, then run the updated game again..
This is an xbox live issue, nothing to do with this tool or 360voice.. |
