Just in case people missed it in the other thread or in Fatty's last badge post on the front page, there will be no genre update for another 2-3 weeks as we get things sorted out and our new system put into place.
Keep making suggestions though, every one gets read! |

Ok here is another suggestion then, or a question and a suggestion:
Why do I need to play Both LEGO STAR WARS II and LEGO STAR WARS TCS for my movie badge? Why not take LSW II off that list?
Where would we put it? How about a new badge!! A LEGO BADGE there are more than enough games for it, Example: STW II, STW TCS, BATMAN, INDIANA JONES, (coming soon: ROCK BAND, HARRY POTTER Y1-4)that means there will be a second HARRY POTTER, and you know LEGO just won't quit with these type games..
Also noticed F.E.A.R. 2 hadn't made it up on FPS yet!? As well as CALL OF JUARES II, it should be out by the time you get the upddate in place so why not add that as well!! and of cource GHOSTBUSTERS in FAMILY or MOVIE or SOMEWHERE!

I liked Lego in its own badge. If you add it to family then you will be overloading it since there will be a new lego game every year. And I will buy them all...
Ghostbusters should go into the great category. Just leave it there or 3PS. I just got Dan Akaroid to shell out a call from GS letting me know my game will be there tomorrow. Sorry Prototype you will be put on the shelf yet again! |

Oh, and with regards to LEGO, once they actually do release more LEGO games, the badge will get more consideration. For now, it's really only 5 games (LEGO Star Wars 1+2, Batman, Indiana Jones and Bionicle) and frankly, people might be happier if Bionicle is left out. | Call of Juarez 2 and Ghostbusters will NOT be added to the next update. They will either not be out at the time or will be too new. Lego is going to stay put for now at least until more of the Lego games are out. |

Games that are first and third are judged on what they are the *majority* of the time. Shadowrun has barely any third perspective, just when using the katana, so it's an FPS. Rainbow Six games are mostly first person, only shifting to third in cover.
Compare to a game like The Club or Wanted, where you stay solidly within the third perspective. There has to be a line somewhere, and that's as good a place as any to put one. Any suggestions beyond "put'em in both" which is *not* an option? |

| And if you really want to clean up FPS put all the FEARS in to Survival Horror.. since L4D is techniqly a FPS anyway.. and it gives Survival horror a boost!! (even though I'll hate it since that's the badge I'm working on!!) |

Prince of Persia is not a hack/slash - there's only about 25 enemies in the whole game.
