The Official 360Voice College Hoops 2K6 Free* Rental Program!
Here are the rules:
1. You must treat the game as if it were your own.
2. You must not hang on to it for an unreasonable amount of time.
3. You agree to pay for postage to send the game to its next destination (because you'll be getting it in the mail for free).
4. You must be responsible in selecting the next person to receive the game. (One requirement: the person you choose must be on the list of names in this post prior to you choosing them)
5. To both the person mailing and the person receiving: Please leave a comment in this thread when the game is mailed and when it is received.
6. Assuming that the game ever gets back to me, I'm borrowing a page from the World's Strongest Fruit's playbook: I want a postcard included in the case from every location that the game travels to. This is real, please.
7. ADDITIONAL RULE: If you post in this thread more than just some form of - "I want it." "I received it." or "I am shipping it to X." - you will be removed from the list. There is no reason to make this thread a pain to go through. If you have a question about the game or what this is about, use the site to e-mail me.
Remember, the cost of postage is roughly half of what you would pay to rent this game from Blockbuster!
By the way THIS IS NOT A JOKE.
*Free in this context means there is no charge to rent the game. Recipient agrees to pay postage for next destination. No purchase necessary. Quantities are limited. NTSC consoles only. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offers. Offer STILL not valid in Southern Indiana. Void where prohibited.
COMPLETION TIME IS UNBELIEVABLY SHORT. ENTIRE GAME MAY BE COMPLETED ON EASY, WITH SLIDERS ADJUSTED AND ALL ACHIEVEMENTS (5 TOTAL) UNLOCKED IN A SINGLE GAME. SERIOUSLY, LESS THAN AN HOUR.

Staff meeting ran late and I missed the post office. 2 hours magically becoming 4 doesn't make me a happy dog.
Anyways, taking it tomorrow afternoon, it will be on its way to southern Indiana by Friday. |

You have to wait for your blog to be up and running, and then wait a few weeks before signing up. You'll have to understand if I feel uncomfortable having a game sent to someone that *just* joined the site and made their first posting in a request for a game.
But, once you wait a bit, then yeah, once it comes to you, you 1k it fairly quickly (takes one game for all the achievements), then just ship it off to the next person. It really is that simple. |
