Went to some garage sales with the wife yesterday.

Picked up an original NES with Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, The Legend of Zelda, Star Tropics, Tecmo Bowl and Top Gun: The Second Mission as well as a Dreamcast with Sonic Adventure, Atari Anniversary Edition, Airforce Delta, SoulCalibur, NFL Blitz 2001 and Record of Lodoss War.

The NES was still in the box (seriously? who keeps a box that long??) with both controllers and the zapper as well as all the manuals, and the cables.

Star Tropics was the only NES game not in the original box, but had dust sleeve and book.

The Dreamcast had all cables, two controllers, a VMU and the manuals.

All of this for $40.

My son (6 years old) is currently enjoying Sonic Adventure.

Yep, the whole thing for $40.

He wanted $15 for the NES package and $25 for the Dreamcast package.

(Yes, $15 for an NES in the box with manuals and controllers and 5 games)

So, I just need to test out the last few Dreamcast games, but so far everything is tip top.

Buy what?

Just the NES?

I would be better served if I actually had a TV the Zapper worked with.

Nice find!

I still have mine along with a small game collection.

$40? That's a great deal.

Why play any of it when you can clean it up a bit and probably make 10x as much on Ebay?

Boxed NES's don't got for crazy money......yet.

Genesis console w/ original instruction manual

Toejam and Earl Funkotron(complete)
8 other games(some complete)- all commons

A bunch of controllers
A few extra manuals
Some other cartridge cleaning thing

All for $10. Yup. I just need to make sure the console works, but even if only the games work it was quite a find...
