| I still think it might explode and I'm not to swayed by the design but if MS really did thier work on it than it should be worth a buy, though I see no reason to buy one unless my box red rings after 3 years |

| I'm not in a hurry to go get one either. I do like the way it looks. I also like the WiFi intergration. About time they did that. $100 for an add-on is ridiculous. |

| Ugh. I think it looks horrible. Built in WiFi is about the only reason I'd want this, but I can only imagine the cooling issues it's going to have. |

Ooooh... I like that it's smaller. the current hdd is big and bulky like ass...
also, I like the glossy finish on the thing... I hate the matte black of the xbox elite... fugly as all hell. |

Yes I agree with futiles and the 'gloss' back is annoying, my PS3 always looks like crap w/ all of the finger prints. But this console will be MINE!! I absolutely HATE the noise coming from my 360, the PS3 is quiet why can't the 360 be quiet.
They said they were shipping to stores but they didn't say how many. (My guess it not ENOUGH) I want one NOW!! |

I argue with anyone about the PS3 being quiet.
360 and PS3 sitting next to each other.
PS3 Noise > 360 Noise
My PS3 sounds like an aircraft taking off whenever that fan kicks on, I never have to turn up the volume while playing the 360. |

| It looks smexy and would mesh with my home theater. I haven't gotten the elite cause I was waiting for something like this. It will go great with my black TV and black satellite receiver etc., Black is so slimming and sexy for a home theater. |

I like the look of it but I hope they haven't cured the RROD, I'm not sure if they can prevent the xbox box getting the RROD because the problem is with the solder there using nowhere near as reliable as lead based solder but its harmful so they can't use it.
They may have reduced how easily it gets the RROD with the extra cooling vents. Does anyone know how many fans it will have? I think it will either have few small fans or one REALLY big fan like the ps3 has.
I noticed someone saying the HDD is internal know when removed is it still a 2.5" SATA HDD in an enclosure or can it be removed completely like the PS3? |
