I don't get it whats the big deal with subscribing to peoples youtube channels, I mean its kinda sad to watch a 2 minute long video a and a minute and a half of it is the poster begging people to subscribe to his or her channel.
Are they seeking fame? does it make them feel important? Anyways I wouldn't be surprised to find out that half of your "subscribers" un-subscribe your channel after your contest is over.
Why should people subscribe to your channel anyways (besides your contest), what are you offering?

People want more subscribers so that there videos get more views. People that have subbed to you receive an email notification of when you uploaded a new video to your channel.
If he is offering a good giveaway and this is definitely a good one to subscribe for (an HD Capture card that costs $200) is worth the trouble. People will probably stay subscribed as he might be offering more prizes in the future.
I hate people that put "SUBSCRIBE" throughout there entire video or their name is stuck in a corner throughout the video.
Anyways subscribed to it and now I wait
I've been eying this capture card for a long time now. |

Well I won't deny that he has a great prize up for grabs, cause hell I want it as well. I just never understood the whole subscribe to my channel thing and why people go out of there way to get people to subscribe to there lame channels that don't offer anything worth subscribing to.
Anyways good luck to all that subscribe as if its something your interested in its a great prize. |
