As explained with my post concerning AotM last night, this week's delay was because of the fact that this month's album, Danger Days, gave me a little trouble picking out the top five songs. I have decided to just list the tracks from best to not so best. (Disclaimer: I am excluding the songs that is just the announcer So let's get into it:

December AotM: Danger Days

Breakdown:
Artist - My Chemical Romance
Album - Danger Days
My Rating: 5 out of 5
Average Rating: 4.5 out of 5

This album deserves more than 5 stars but I swore to myself that I would never give an album over 5 stars so its must stay at 5. I have listened to this album at least twenty times through since its release. Every track on this album is literally the best in its own way. I can easily tell that they have spent these past five years working on these songs and the quality shows. From the very fast paced song Na Na Na to the graduating intensity of Bulletproof heart to the strong ballad that is Sing and then to the dance song that continues to blow my mind, Planetary (GO!) and then that's only half the album! Enough about my explanation, let's count down the tracks:

Tracks in the Album That Can't Be Called Top Tracks This Time:
1. Planetary (Go!)
2. Party Poison
3. Bulletproof Heart
4. Na Na Na
5. Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back
6. Sing
7. Vampire Money
8. S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W
9. Destroya
10. The Only Hope for Me is You
11. The Kids from Yesterday
12. Summertime

Singles of the Month:
1. If it Means a Lot to You - A Day to Remember
2. Spotlight (Oh Nostalgia/New Regrets) - Patrick Stump
3. When the Day Met the Night - Panic at the Disco
4. I'm Not Contagious - Chromeo
5. Jingle Bells - Glee Cast (Best cover of Jingle Bells I have ever heard)

So there we go. AotM is back in its rightful place and hopefully will stay there this time. See you all next time and I STRONGLY recommend this album!
