I figured I'd openly ask for submissions this time around as no, Dacoto does not have a stranglehold on badge art, he's just really good at it and I love his work. If anyone else wants to take a shot at some badges for me, have at it and earn yourself the Artist Badge as a result (if we choose your work).
The Badges I need are the following:
For Collections:
Zombie
Co-Op (Oh come'on, you saw this coming)
Incomplete (What? The Incomplete Collection makes me chuckle)
For new Genres:
Fitness (Is happening)
Platformer (Is happening)
Turn-Based Strategy
Real-Time Strategy
Arcade Racing
Sim Racing
*sigh* Dynasty Warriors
Badge redesigns:
Easycore
Hardcore
Sandbox
A Dog of Thunder redesign request:
Shmup
The last one I requested was Fighting and Dacoto turned out a great new take on the badge. I have just as high of hopes for Shmup.
There is no promise that a request for artwork means the genre or collection will actually happen. I reserve the right to pull the rug out from under you by not actually going through with a Dynasty Warriors split from Hack'n'Slash, possibly followed by a maniacal cackle while I twirl my mustache.
Unless I say it is happening, in which case, well, it is.
Remember for genres, the "stars" do not have to be actual stars. You can get creative with it.

I had forgotten that collection badges have a different look. Probably because I don't have very many. I wouldn't mind seeing them with text though.

I still think my easycore submission stands as the best representation of that genre.
Also, some other stuff needs updating as well...

A bit bored and just wanted it up there. My paint/design skills suck.
Edit: just saw you wanted one for impossible so the first pic is good for that too.
edit2: you said incomplete, my bad. A little more info on that. Incomplete as I open all my games but rarely finish? (I could be near the top on that one) |

While I know it's little more than an academic question at this point...is that my idea, or did someone else think of having a badge for it at some point earlier and I just happened to have the same idea more recently?
And incidentally, for Incomplete...might I suggest we have 2 badges for that, one for sports games and one for everything else? |
