I will be cheering for San Francisco for now.
I have some Steelers fans that I like to get under the skin of every now and then.
One of my best tools was San Francisco having 5 rings, then when Pittsburgh got the fifth, I could point out that SF was the only multiple Super Bowl wins team to have a 100% record. it would be nice to see SF have 6, with a 6-0 SB record, just to pour a little salt in their wounds when they get a little uppity. |

Man, you must have some really uppity Steelers friends :/
I would hope that wound is superficial, since we were the first to 6. "One for the other thumb" as it were... |

I like your style, futiles
It's always fun to 'stir the pot' when it comes to sports. As long as it's someone who can take it, of course. Most of my friends give as good as they get, so it's usually a lot of fun arguing with them.

And have the most appearances, 8!
The Steelers and Saints can watch the games together next week. |

I'd rather be 6-0 then 6-2.
And to Dacoto, actually, most Steelers fans I know are pretty touchy about the 2 losses. So, it's always fun to get the tip of the finger in the wound and move it around a little. |

I'd rather be 6-0 then 6-2.
I'd rather be 6-2 then 1-0 with years of ineptitude prior to the 1. |

See, you can't hurt a Saints fan's feelings with trash talk.
We started calling them the 'Aints. So, anyone else that does, doesn't bother us. (it's cute, to think people can hurt our feelings with the pet name we gave our own team.) We invented bags on your heads at the stadium. Had NEVER happened before, oh, and we still sold our stadium out and avoided blackouts during that 1-15 season.
We know we were an awful team. We were the benchmark of futility for 20 seasons, before we had our first winning record.
So, yep, we only have one, and we took 40 years to get it. But we have never lost a Super Bowl.
And to the airport picture, I love that it is an LA departure sign. Hasn't LA had and lost 3 teams already? (Chargers, Raiders and Rams) I'm not even sure they are allowed to trash talk anyone anymore. Even Jacksonville, Cleveland, St Louis, Minnesota, Buffalo and Tampa Bay are allowed to point to LA and laugh (for now).
Of course, LA is always looking for the next future Ex-Los Angeles team... |

But really, isn't 6-2 still better than 6-0? That's two more conference championships. |

I'm pretty sure the answer is yes.
I get the all or nothing mentality but to say you'd rather not be in a Superbowl than lose one makes no sense to me. |

I don't know where I stand on that one, really. It's a pretty hollow feeling to lose a SB. Especially in the fashion in which we've lost ours. We beat ourselves in SB XXX (thanks Neil O'Donnell, you dick ) and last year where we simply couldn't do anything right and lost a close game that we should have been able to pull out. Meh, it is what it is. |

| Well, in the Eagles' case, it's better for everyone else that they have only been to one and lost it. Before, it was always poking fun at them for having not made it, now it's for having made it and losing horribly. Plus, vomiting. |
