griffey linked to it in a previous post.
Basic run down is this, looking at xbox.com with any browser and no specific addon installed to view advanced information has the timestamping of achievements off by a few hours (at most, 8, but I am still checking on that).
HOWEVER, the coding for accurate timestamps must be buried in the data somewhere, because when I used greasemonkey on Firefox, I actually watched Facial La Fleur's dates change as greasemonkey loaded up, and Pyjama Party changed from "Tues, 28 Feb 2012" to "Wed, 29 Feb 2012 at 04:00:39" on my browser. In a side-by-side view, IE actually had different information for dates than Firefox, as viewed with greasemonkey.
Sorry for the rambling description, but it is a very strange issue. |

| Not to be offensive, but why don't you just stop playing around the cutoff time since you know it causes issuses Facial? |

Not an option for everyone. Quite often I don't get a chance to play at all during the day/evening. Only way I can make sure I meet the quota on most days is to stay up a bit later than usual and grab them right after midnight. I assume that there'd be some people under similar circumstances. |

Honestly, this is not a feed/cutoff issue, exactly, but rather an issue with xbox.com doing something odd with timestamping and then the way it reports up through the feed based on that peculiar timestamp.
And, seriously, expanding the already 2-hour "cutoff window" to like 8 hours is a bit much.
(This is another reason why futiles' challenges will will be score only, and not achievement counts and/or TA Ratios) |

I do the same, but it is because of time zone differences. |

It's a set value, in your achievments there's a big number and it's relation to GMT UTC time, so browser has to figure out what that is. |

I don't play near the cutoff times usually. 9 to 10 pm or 2 to 3am should be a more than sufficient window. xbox.com should just make it where the time stamp is whatever is on my console but I suppose that presents the issue of people cheating by changing their time zone. Oh well, guess I'll be losing my tower much sooner than anticipated cuz I'm not gonna stress myself out over it. |

Well...Since everyone had a reasonable stack of bricks, and Grape Ape was rather brazen with their "come at me, bro." attitude... Watching team after team attempt to unseat the #1 team in the competition doesn't really seem that far fetched, does it?
I mean, if I saw 2 teams try for revenge against a team that has dropped twice, with (at the time) 3 people who had yet to build, aaaand someone who has put up 20-30+ achievements every single day, why would I not want to try to add to that? You'd almost be stupid not to at this point.
But hey, maybe that type of strategery didn't go down, and this is all just one really, really, really big coincidence....

I am still just a bit confused on the brick building.
If my tower is at level 20, but it isn't my day to build, and I want to cover 5 bricks that were thrown at my team. Do I just need to unlock 5 achievements to cover them, pushing my tower to 25 overall? |

You would need 25 achievements, pushing your tower to 25 overall |

Except, there is something jacked up with it, since I can see different dates reported in different browsers and based on whether or not greasemonkey is installed.
There is something amiss, either way... |

I checked the source code for the Greasemonkey script (http://userscripts.org/scripts/review/124569). According to the comments in his code, the programmer knew about the "time zone error" and attempted to fix it so that the browser/computer/xbox.com (whatever is causing the issue, I'm guessing xbox.com) can't "auto correct" it. Details on how he did this are in his source code comments, and it seems to be a credible enough way of going about it, especially seeing as it goes along with what the site members have said in regards to when their achievements have unlocked. |

| That appears to match what I was seeing, and explains why things "change" once greasemonkey loads on the page. |
