I have a buddy who makes custom controllers that are pretty sweet, so I ordered one for my youngest daughter for Easter. She religiously watches some TV show called Pretty Little Liars, so that's the theme we went with. He uses automotive paint, so it should last forever. I went with the chrome buttons/triggers/trim pieces, which added to the cost but it came out really nice.

You can check out his other work here. He's done 360 controllers, PS3 controllers, Wii-motes, etc. He also makes some pretty sweet vinyl decals for consoles, vehicles, etc.

Thats pretty cool. Whats something like that cost? The MW controller with the bullet buttons was awesome.

That's really nice work. I love the chrome finish on the buttons! Nice.

There are a ton of variables that can effect cost. It's obviously cheaper to ship him an existing controller and pass on the chrome trim pieces and such. Or you can go all out...new controller, fancy trim, intricate design, etc. I had roughly $100 in this one but as I said, everything was brand new. He can take a pretty ratty looking controller and make it look great. Check out the one he did for Wolfie (should be on his Facebook page linked above).

Once you have a theme or design picked out, he can give you an exact quote.

I'd be tempted to do a brand new one, as mine tend to get a little wonky as they get older.

He does good work but I think the one he did for your daughter is the best. It looks very sleek and the colors work well together.
