Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the fourth annual Buffet Challenge!

This year's challenge is won by adding 26,000 gamerscore from across the 32 recognized genres. The hitch is that each genre will cap at 1,000 points. So for instance, no matter how many sports games you play, only 1,000 sports points will be attributed towards the 26,000 total. Note that you do not need to score the full 1,000 in 26 different genres; the only requirement is that your total score out of a possible 32,000 points reaches 26,000.
Rules:
1. Only the games associated with genres on 360voice count towards the total.
2. Gamerscore which you already have at the start of the launch date will be recorded and you will need to ADD to that total.
3. In the event of a genre update, gamerscore will once again be recorded and new games will be eligible to be played. For example, if you already have 400 points in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and it gets added to the Modern Shooter genre, you may add 600 points but the 400 does not count. If you have not played the game at all at that point, you may try for the full 1,000.
4. In the event that a genre is added, it will be part of this challenge, making it easier to reach the 26,000 target.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze Contest Winner badges
800 MSP to the Gold medalist - provided by toddycst
800 MSP to the Silver medalist - provided by toddycst
800 MSP to the Bronze medalist - provided by toddycst
800 MSP for first gamer to open every genre (score at least 1 point in all 32 genres) - provided by griffey95
800 MSP for second gamer to open every genre (score at least 1 point in all 32 genres) - provided by griffey95
1600 MSP for the first gamer to earn 26K from 26 games - provided by Facial La Fleur
1600 MSP for the first gamer to earn 32K from the 32 starting genres - provided by Facial La Fleur
Start date:
Three days after the April genre update goes live. So, April 4th if all goes to plan

| Eh, don't see myself doing anything spectacular in this this year (I was surprised I was able to manage 2nd last year when I was in the heat of trying in competitions, and I'm burned out now)...but may as well join. |

I think the start date is April 1st. That's what it was last year.

| The start date is dependent on when the April genre update goes live. If it goes in April 1st then Buffet will start April 4th. Fshguy is going to set up a Custom Challenge to automatically calculate scores and we want a couple days to iron it out. |

| Joined, even though I won't be competitive. Too many genres that I try to avoid. Like Fighting games..I'm HORRIBLE at them and usually feel like I have 10 thumbs every time I try to play one. I'm a sucker for events though, so I'll do what I can and be happy with that. |
