After watching the first trailer for it...I'm actually not that impressed. Though I don't know how much not playing the first one has to do with that.
In either case, it looks like Sci-Fi Shooter will have its first Call of Duty entry. |

I'm glad to see Treyarch has been experimenting with the formula over the last few entries whereas Infinity Ward has just made Call of Duty 4 over and over, only not nearly as good. The series needs a new engine as well. Mechanically the games pretty much work as good as can be expected but the graphics have hardly improved over the years.
I'm on the fence if I will play this or not. I've been very anti Activision for many years. Ever since Modern Warfare 2 launched with disastrous amounts of glitches and exploits and they took months to get the game as balanced as they could have if they would have done a beta, I was mad but still on board as a COD fan. Weeks later the first map pack comes out and instead of apologizing to the fans for the issues of months prior by offering a free download they charge $15. That is where I drew the line. Right then and there I realized they don't care about the fans, only our money. No wonder half the team walked. |

My view on the announcement and all the hush-hush crap they went through was "oh really? it's Blops 2? Not like the internet (and leaks) hadn't already surmised that." and "not one **** was given this day".
I dunno, maybe I got burnt out, maybe it got stale, either way I just played maybe an hour of MW3 last year, doubt I'll play any of this... though if the story links much I may have to :p |

| Anyone been able to pre-order two copies at the same time anywhere? I ran into this problem last year, but both my husband and I plan to take off from work that day and I really don't want to have to go to two different stores. |

I have never had trouble pre-ordering multiple copies of anything at a Best Buy.
I am shoked Black Ops got a sequel.
It was the worse game with Call of Duty in the title. It really felt like Activision just told the team to take whatever leftovers they had laying around from all previous games. Wrap them together in a completely predictable and silly storyline that felt like a daytime drama instead of a suspense thriller.
Really, when I played it, I thought, wow, they phoned this in and still sold it for $60 each. Amazing! |

| I'll probably get it in the sales after christmas, maybe. Its not really fair my dad will get it for christmas and rubbing it in my face. Been poor sucks. I haven't played mw2/mw3 yet anyway and just finish 1st blops on saturday... |

| @chupamama if you dont have a Best Buy in your area you could order it from amazon, they have release day guarantee. But Best Buy is giving $20.00 in rewards for all AAA pre-orders, so it might be worth getting from them |
