Now this is an eagerly awaited game
i picked this up early due to a fault on a site i use so here we go haha ill add more as i play through it alot more but i know there will be an eager few wanting info on it.
COD4 simply put is amazing the graphics are top notch every single enviroment terrorist vehicle everything is just polished to a perfect degree.
This game is a return from infinity ward who did COD2 which was also an excellent game
the weapons are tight for modern warfare the accuracy of the guns is amazing im glad that finally the days of WW2 have been left behind and now we have a new step forward in the Call of Duty franchise.
The enemy A.I is great the terrorists take cover and act intelligently to danger they wont stand around pondering whether or not thats a grenade or a rock they often throw them back or kick them away.
Your troops aswell have AI that rivals rainbow 6 they in many cases will save your life when they bust into a room they will many a time clear it in no time this takes no fun out of it as you are simply amazed at how good they are at taking enemies out if a grenade ends up next to you expect a teamate to run over and give it a swift kick to get it away from you.
This is the most engaging call of duty ever as the storyline is simply amazing i wont spoil anything but there are a few surprises as you go through it.
Instead of bouncing from 3 separate story lines you are just moved from British SAS to an American special forces marine the story line for both of these divisions is wound together in that they are both after the same goal to stop the terrorist threat.
There is also a good change up in the single player missions one sees you trying to be stealthy covered in full camo you must go through this mission not drawing attention to yourself your teamate wont take fire until you are under a direct threat.
another sees you in a chopper manning the gun taking out various enemys dotted around on rooftops there is a heat metre for this gun as you might remember from the level in COD2 where your gun would overheat.
theres another mission where you are the co pilot in a advanced gunship all you can see is a black and white view of the ground below you just open fire on helpless troops blowing them up with high calibre weaponryyour pilot throws in little bits of strange dialouge like "ooohhh kaboooom!!" haha which is pretty eerie.
The sniper sections are amazing aswell the sniper takes in the distance of the target the wind speed and the rotation of the earth it seems like alot
but it adds so much depth to the game and the tension waiting for your target to appear is amazing you actually want to get the shot just right .
The single player should last the pro fps player about 7 hours tops on medium... however cranking it to veteran means its gonna last another 4 or 5 hours on top of this the single player is perfect the best fps in a while well unless your a fanboy of a certain game.... haha but yes its amazing and yes you should buy it i havent had a chance for multiplayer yet but i may be able to add more tomorrow if there are some people playing it but all in all BUY COD4 haha

Yeah I loved manning the C130... easily the mission I had the most fun on.. and the dialog made it that much better
The multi-player could have only gotten better from the beta... so it stays at 9.5/10 |

| I wouldn't have ever baeten the sp on Veteran if I went to mp whenever I got pissed. I got pissed a lot, believe me. But it's all over, so now I can focus on the amazing mp. |

The only thing this game is lacking is a co-op.
A few co-op missions would have made it my perfect game. |
