----COMPLETELY REWRITING DUE TO NEW FEATURE----
We are rolling out a new feature today... one you might have seen some people beta-testing for us... it is called microblogging. You can go to your Xbox blog while playing any retail title, arcade title, or demo/beta and submit a real-time comment that will be pushed immediately to your blog.
With the launch of this feature, there is another added benefit, you can lock in a streak!
Are you obsessed with your streak badge? Do you want to do everything you can to keep it? Well now you can put in a game or demo, submit a microblog entry, and your streak will be saved! This next part is very important:
With the launch of microblogs we will no longer be reseting streaks for any reason.
With the microblogging you have the ability to lock in a game manually! We are putting the power to keep your streak directly in your hands!! Take the power! Learn it! Love it! Use it! -------------------------
Itty bitty note: It seems the guys are fixing streaks once more. If you need a streak fixed, gather your evidence and send it to support@360voice.com But do try to microblog/play a retail game without relying too heavily on going through support. The guys do enough as it is. |

| I like how the live eye is just a little back up for when you screw up your streak on the actually cool 360 tracking site. |

| ...I wouldn't say that LiveEye is less cool :) It just does things in a different way... and is a good compliment to how we track data. |

He could have handed it over to many people but it would not have changed the situation. MS only allows so many requests per second for ALL sites. The amount of Gamertags LiveEye was already checking was causing some to get missed at times as too many requests were going through. If he upped his requests anymore then he would be taking away requests that other sites need to keep running.
The only way LiveEye will come back is if MS changes some policies. |

just one question: if when I am playing it says "Pominator is online!" and "halo 3 is the entertainment of choice" underneath it, how does this not go on my blog and my 360voice blog claim that i was off for the last 2 days, lost my 50 day streak that would have been at a hundred now if it were not for the last time it messed up 50 days ago... Which I overlooked.
So, as awesome as this feature is, how can it be that my 360voice blog doesn't record that I have played it when at the time it is saying that I am playing it? |

I'm in the same boat and pretty upset about it. I just read this and got even more steamed when I saw that "we will no longer be reseting streaks for any reason" whatever...
Played Gears of War AND RBSV:2 on the 24th which would have been on the blog for the 25th, did it register?? nope. lost a 273 day streak and my place at #94 on the leaderboards... Today would have been 278days straight and even the email to Trapper went unresponded.
Guess there are only certain people who they will fix it for since this apparently started Jan 27th but for the last month I went up and down the leaderboards because someone above me lost their streak but they fixed it.

It blogs about the previous day*. According to MGC, you played Halo 3 at 1am PST. It could have been too close to the cut-off time. Microblog are here to prevent this sort of thing from occuring. If you aren't going to microblog as you don't want to spoil your blog, play a couple of games to make sure at least 1 registers!
*What you game today (4th) will be posted tomorrow (5th). |

Demo's are Backwards Compatible games takes ages to play.
Which page does it say demo's are counted? (link please) Since December '07, they won't show on your gamercard. |

| Well, I had 62 days going and played Puzzle Quest well into the night every night this week and suddenly I'm told I took the day off. I didn't realize I needed to take precautions like play 3 different games just to be sure one was counted. Lame... |

The FAQ states:

9. I know that I played yesterday but my blog says I didn't! What happened? We honestly don't have as great of control over this as we would like. Here are some of the reasons:
1. We only have LASTPLAYED DATE If you start playing a game before midnight PST and you finish playing after midnight PST, the lastplayed date will be for the next day. Therefore it will not count as a played game in your blog until the following blog entry. If you are on a streak, this will cause you to lose it! To prevent this, always play multiple games per day and always finish at least one of them well before midnight PST.
2. Not logged in to Xbox Live You might lose your connection to Xbox Live and not notice. Always make sure that you are logged in BEFORE you load the game and logged in after you exit to the dashboard. This will provide the best scenerio for your game data to be captured.
3. Network problems You might be logged in to Xbox Live but your wireless is running super slow... or your router is flacky. This will mean that even though you play, the data never makes it off your box up to the Live servers. You can try rebooting your router in these cases.
4. Not enough time to write the data to Live If you power off your Xbox from within the game, sometimes there is not enough time for the data to get to the servers before the power is off. Always exit the game to the dashboard, then power off the Xbox.
Because we are using a web service that MS provides, the resolution is fairly inaccurate... but we are doing the best we can to make it as consistent as possible.
5. Feed delays from Microsoft It has happened in the past that there are delays that prevent your Xbox.com profile from updating after you play your games. You can see this if you go to your Xbox.com profile and look at your recent games list. Sometimes it might be out-of-date. If your feed is out of date, than we won't be able to see the games for the blog entry. In the past, Microsoft has been notified and fixed this... If it looks like your game data is a day or so behind, let us know and we can ask our MS contacts to look into it.
All I can say is sorry you lost your streak but there's nothing can be done. The guys even put in micro-blogging to help those of us who are concerned about keeping our streak the ability to ensure it was kept.
I think they said all they could in the FAQ about why the data isn't always accurate but it's not the fault of 360voice.
I lost my 100 day streak in February and now I have something to aim to beat! Always look on the bright side, lol!

| Its frustrating sure, I seem to lose my streak at 9 days. Happened twice. All I can figure is that my lame internet connection doesn't allow me online long enough to record. Oh well, I am not going to micro blog everday to keep a streak. |
I don't need to "get a life". I am a gamer, I have LOTS of LIVES. |
