Hello friends and foes of 360voice.com

It's that time again for Sig Policy Awareness day. We noticed some of the sigs are getting a little out of control. We give lot of wiggle room with the sigs, but we need to let you know that there is a limit on how big a sig should be.

Pictures, banners, text, links, icons, turtles, mufflers, pickles and whatever else you guys are putting there, the set size for sigs is:

500 x 250

Thats pixels, not inches... Sorry :-)

If you go over a couple pixels thats fine, we're not going to bust out the rulers and measure, but please try and limit the width and height so that the forums are easily readable, legible, easy to read, or however you say it.

Also, in case anybody is wondering how to measure your sig (including all the text, links and pics, etc.) the way I have done it is to take a print screen, paste it into Paint (or GIMP, or Photoshop, etc.) and crop my signature. Then, look at the image attributes an ensure that it fits.

Is this the right way to do it? I sure hope so!

I think the sig policy probably needs to be updated for width, I don't think it was updated with the width update of the site eons ago...

I agree. As stated above, mine fills about half the width of the total space below my post, and it's only 415 pixels!

I would say something between 700 and 800 would be more approapriate?

I measure yours at roughly 639 x 390. Over on both width and height, but it's up to Change, Fatty, Squid and the 3VCEs to enforce and say if it's too big or not.

I'll have to measure mine out when I get home, would look alot better if I could get a RockBand stats image and a smaller 360 card to match the Wii and PS3 ones

Your sig size should be good. I don't think its too big.
