I got the CE version of Warhammer online, and will be starting playing this Sunday. Anyone going to be playing the game at all, or this week?

Going to be doing a casual guild for 360voice/GamerDNA if anyone wants to be part of it.

If I can get a job and can afford one, then absolutely I will be getting it. I am a huge Warhammer fan, and just drool over this.

Fatty Chubs, I was just looking at this today and was curious if anyone was actually going to play online. If we can generate enough people within the community I would love to be included. Now then, I just have to go back and get it. I hear the graphics aren't great, but the gameplay is fun.

The gameplay/controls are just like World of Warcraft, but they do a lot of cool things around Player versus Player and sieging keeps, public question where you just join a group of random folks for a quick large group quest.

I am not a huge MMO player, so can't really say how great the game really is, but I am looking forward to playing it more on release. Post Server details when I have them. I am rocking the a Chaos Chosen (tank).

I love WAR so far. I think I had a couple threads posted on it a month or so back, I'll certainly be playing upon release. I'll be going Order, Dwarf Ironbreaker! Maybe I can get on the same server as you Chubs - I'd be happy to kill you! I'm in the open beta now, as a bright wizard, I forget what server at the moment.

I gave my son the beta key I got as an IGN Founder's Club member and he has absolutely fallen in love with the game. He's already pre-ordered it and spends way too much time playing the beta when he should be doing Physics II homework!

But not me though...I think there's something inherently evil about paying $15 a month to play a game I already paid $40+ for. That's just way too much money to play 1 game...

I've never been bothered by that. I get way more play time out of an MMO than any other game, so have no problems with the cost. I think a game that has 8 hours of content and little replay value that sells for $50-60 is a ripoff, not a $50 game with a $15 a month fee that has 1000s of hours of content. Calculate it out as a $/hour rate for entertainment, MMOs end up being dirt cheap, assuming you play.

Fatty Chubs - I just realized it make more sense for me to roll Destro on whatever server you go for. I'll be a Marauder there =) Let us know when you pick a server! I think the list of retail servers releases tomorrow.

I'm still saddened by the fact that my computer can't run Warhammer. I'll be sad about that until...well...until...umm..darn. I'll be sad for a long time. :-(
