I have recently registered for a blog here as I created a small site to play around with and post data about my xbox on and thought it would be nice to let the xbox have its own blog too.

Now, I would really like to be able to output my game information to the site also however everyone I ask about such things seems to say that the information isn't available in any parsed format, ie games played, achievements complete etc.

My question is, is this true? I am hoping not as I had a quick poke at logging into the xbox site with php using curl commands and didn't make any progess.

Any hints/information would be greatly appreciated.

It's true. The information on the Game's page is wanted by paying people, so it makes little sense to give it away for free. Achievement details are not given out by Microsoft to anyone. Any site that has it is screen scraping XBox.com (using cURL to get data from Microsoft's page) which violates their Terms of Use.

Thanks heaps for the information, will avoid doing that due to it being on shared hosting, will have to look for another method.

I noticed you said "Played Games" in your above post.

You can get information, by user, on all of their played games and the amount of gamerscore they have as well as the amount of achievements they have in that game. It just does not break down the actual achievements the player has. It's only limitation is those who have 360Voice accounts and not for everyone that has an XBL account.
