If you've spent any time on Engadget before, you'll be aware that we're big fans of Ben Heck and his tireless modding, tweaking and hacking (or is it Hecking?) of console hardware. The latest feather to his cap comes in the form of a customized Xbox 360 controller, which sees its D-pad and action buttons swapping places in an effort to help a handicapped gamer get his proverbial groove on. The trigger buttons are also flipped, but the pièce de résistance is the inclusion of four extra action buttons along the bottom of the controller that make one-handed gaming totally feasible.

I think that is pretty darn cool. I mean I dont like how the d pad does not have the diagonal buttons. Which would be a problems for some games. The way the buttons on back look almost looks like he made my controller (which you can see in my sig) hes a very talented person.

| needs to make a controller with that dpad on the left side instead of the thumb stick, and that exact dpad, I'd be a beast on the 2D fighters if it had the correct dpad and not this rocker 8directional crap, as well as frogger actually... *thinks* yes, lots I could up my scores in with a controller like that |

I like the directional for me its like my old snes controller the turbo touch 360. so im use to it but it was still a very nice design.
