Nope, he only plans on using his new gamertag for Achievement Fest, and then he will return to our shared account of pTartTX. He still fully plans on going for the individual record, he just can't seem to make up his want on what the gamertag should be. He's not sure if he wants to go down in history as "Mr. pTart" lol. |

25 people each on new tags.... so we would be going for a record of the most gamerscore unlocked in 24 hours by 25 people.
This way we could follow the rules as they are exactly laid out for the individual records which Guinness already has approved. Most of us will just unlock around 5k on a new tag quickly for the record, but then focus on our own tags for boosting the majority of the weekend. |

Idea just came to me the other day. Would most gamerscore in 24 hours only playing Kinect games be a distinctive enough category?
I think I could play for about 12-15 of 24 hours with the right games. Maybe 5-8k. Not sure if Bozack can allocate the space either? Needs to have really good air flow!!! |

Indigo is going through some tough life situations right now and we will need to get someone else to step up and spearhead the final Guinness preparations.
Fshguy I love your idea. We have a dedicated Kinect room that could easily be used for that attempt. The best part about doing new records and having only 1 person attempt and set the record is that we will be able to accumulate more total records.
I have some new stuff I am working on that I will announce in the next few days. One thing I am going to announce is 100% refunds will be available up until 1 week before the event. We really need to get 30-40 more registrations to push a couple of my potential sponsors over the top. |

Just as a quick announcement:
Patrick (Indigo Ferret) has some very unfortunate events that have taken place in his real life and needed to step down out of the director role for the Guinness records. I don't want to make a big deal about it, but our thoughts and prayers are with him and we look forward to gaming again together soon.
John (Fafhrdd) has graciously agreed to carry on the great start that Patrick had going and make sure we get all of the paperwork filed and correctly applied.
I am not sure if the mods can help us and get Fafhrdd access to edit the first post to keep things updated? |
