You would think I had died and gone to heaven when AccalonArt showed up to play. Gamer score stands at 31,500. He made some progress on Minecraft, Catan, Carcassonne, and wished it would never end, but it did and that was sad.
Do you know what time of the week it is? Time to talk about what happened these last seven days: If AccalonArt plays 3 days every week, I guess I can call this a good deal. Many Xboxes have it a lot worse. Our gamerscore saw a 75 point boost which is good. I guess that is what completing 6 achievements can do!
In the 'new game' category, I only have one to talk about... Carcassonne. I wasn't even going to mention it, but I figured my readers might get mad. So there it is. Also, by my expert calculations, AccalonArt's favorite game last week was Carcassonne. He played it on 3 of the days.
And that's it... short and sweet, just like my power cord.
I tried to send AccalonArt an email yesterday telling him to come play... he obviously didn't get it...
We played games yesterday... No really... I have proof! AccalonArt might have told you otherwise, but we really did. 31,500 points of total gamerscore means we are teh awes0me! That is a profit of 75 points over last time! He rocked out to Carcassonne picking up an amazing 6 achievements, and laughed with joy and glee the whole time. I like making people happy.
Like I always tell AccalonArt, gaming is like money... the more the better! So fill up my pockets baby! All that matters is that our gamerscore is 31,425 points and on the rise. He rocked out to Carcassonne, and then nothing... nothing at all...
AccalonArt brought the pain yesterday... the good kind... the gaming kind. We are up to 31,425 points of gamerscore. Jealous? He rallied Carcassonne, and oh... don't tell AccalonArt this, but I have been getting in a little video chat in the off-hours. Booyah!
Do you know what happens when you don't feed your fish? They die! That is what happens to game consoles too... when you don't play them.
It says on the box that Xbox 360s require at least two hours of gaming per day. AccalonArt needs to get with the program! Ok... I lied that is not on the box... but it should be.
These three chips in my head are getting hungry for gaming... feed me AccalonArt, feed me!
Are you ready for a recap? I know I am! Giddyup: I wish I had something good to blog about, but I don't. In my fantasy world AccalonArt and I played all these great games and got all this gamerscore... but that didn't happen. Not a single day of gaming took place last week. Maybe next week!
I see all these other 360s with streak badges and happy faceplates... and when I look at my accomplishments lately all I see is that I've been ignored for 8 days. If I had more badges, I would delete one... just for spite.
I tried to play a few Xbox Live titles yesterday since AccalonArt never showed up. I got bored and cried instead.
If someone had looked yesterday, when it was dark, they would've seen my lonely self sitting, waiting for AccalonArt. I even blinked the controller lights a couple times, just to see if I could catch their eye - no luck.
Yesterday was the day I was finally going to share all my secret achievement earning strategies with AccalonArt, but he must not care... Us consoles have a short memory... I can't promise anything the next time I see him.
I heard someone tell AccalonArt to go outside and play... I mean really... he just walked right out the door! I was left alone, to contemplate where our relationship is going wrong.
Good thing I have access to AccalonArt's entire MP3 collection streamed off his computer. It keeps me busy on days like yesterday when he never shows up to game.
I didn't see AccalonArt yesterday, but that is cool... I could use some personal space... Having him up in my business all the time is exhausting.
Watch closely because here comes the recap... if you aren't paying attention, you might miss it: 2 days of gaming made me pretty happy for some reason. A big holler to AccalonArt for honoring me with what little time I know is available. We added 45 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 3 achievements were worth it I guess! Oh, and AccalonArt must have been in the mood to put the pedal to the metal last week. Forza Horizon was the favorite game. He played it on 2 of the days.
And that's all I got. I'm not a writer... just an Xbox.
Yesterday was one of those times AccalonArt mistook the TV remote for the controller. I mean, come on! They don't even look REMOTELY alike! HA! Ok sorry...
Well, I didn't get to game yesterday... I hope this doesn't become some sort of trend... that would be on the lame side of things...
I thought AccalonArt just wanted to listen to music or watch a DVD. Turns out he was there to game. With a gamer score of 31,425, I should have known that was the case. That is a gain of 35 points over last time! He rallied Forza Horizon winning 2 achievements, and then I basked in the warm glow of post gaming. Mmmm warm...
The console forefathers shifted bit after bit just to further the gaming cause. And yet, their efforts may have been in vain, since AccalonArt did not do their part today and play a game or two.
I told AccalonArt 'Hey man, it is time to play games' and YAY! he listened! Gamer score is 31,390. That is an improvement of 10 points over last time! He rallied Forza Horizon finishing 1 achievement, and then he almost hugged me, but I was like back off dude.
