Ashkihyena's Weekly Recap - Jun 17 2013

Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: 3 days of gaming made me pretty happy for some reason. A big holler to Ashkihyena for honoring me with what little time I know is available. We added 240 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 17 achievements were worth it I guess!

For the record, we only played one new game this last week. It was Far Cry® 3. I was hoping for a few more, but I guess not everyone is made out of money! Also, I think we can all agree that Ashkihyena's favorite game last week was Far Cry® 3. He played it on 3 of the days.

Hey, remember that challenge I was talking about a few days ago? The one called 'Auto Challenge - #94481'? It came to a close today. In a hard fought battle of grit, determination, and blistered thumbs, Ashkihyena took first place! Well done! I was all geared up and ready to do some rocking and rolling when Ashkihyena said that they were going to go bake a cake... he never came back... I'm thinking the cake was a lie.

I thought Ashkihyena just wanted to listen to music or watch a DVD. Turns out he was there to game. With a gamer score of 23,121, I should have known that was the case. That is a profit of 35 points over last time! He rocked out to Far Cry® 3 acquiring 2 achievements, and then I needed a nap. Don't judge me! It's a lot of work pushing all those pixels.

This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to prevent porschephiliac from leaving us in the dust. Call me crazy, but that 144,841 point deficit is totally doable...

Oh and it is time for a gamerscore challenge update... listen up... Bookmark this link now and check out all the action! There are 9 other people playing along as well... they better watch out. Good thing I have access to Ashkihyena's entire MP3 collection streamed off his computer. It keeps me busy on days like yesterday when he never shows up to game.

I also want to mention/remind you that Ashkihyena is participating in a pretty slamming gamerscore challenge. Here is the link: check it. There are 9 other people playing along as well... they better watch out. Currently, Ashkihyena is setting the pace, though, jumping into the lead and hoping to hold on through the end of the challenge. Let's not get comfortable resting on our laurels. Ashkihyena's Xbox - Jun 13 2013

Ashkihyena brought the pain yesterday... the good kind... the gaming kind. We are up to 23,086 points of gamerscore. Jealous? That is a boost of 155 points over last time! Another day, another milestone. The 23,000 barrier has fallen! He made some progress on Far Cry® 3 gaining an amazing 11 achievements, and oh... don't tell Ashkihyena this, but I have been getting in a little video chat in the off-hours. Booyah!

Oh and it is time for a gamerscore challenge update... listen up... Let me link you to the daily updates and trash talking. 9 other people are throwing down in this challenge. If I do the math correctly, it means that 9 players X 5 days means a whole lot of trash talk! Current rank out of all those people is number one though. Everyone else is jealous... I feel their hate. We played games yesterday... No really... I have proof! Ashkihyena might have told you otherwise, but we really did. 22,931 points of total gamerscore means we are teh awes0me! That is a gain of 50 points over last time! He rocked out to Far Cry® 3 winning 4 achievements, as well as checked out what was new in the live marketplace.

Ashkihyena's Weekly Recap - Jun 10 2013

Do you know what time of the week it is? Time to talk about what happened these last seven days: 6 days of gaming made me pretty happy for some reason. A big holler to Ashkihyena for honoring me with what little time I know is available. Our gamerscore saw a 200 point boost which is good. I guess that is what completing 17 achievements can do!

For the record, we only played one new game this last week. It was Wheel of Fortune. I was hoping for a few more, but I guess not everyone is made out of money! Oh, and from what I remember, Ashkihyena's favorite game last week was Star Trek. He played it on 4 of the days.

I was about to feel sorry for myself, until Ashkihyena showed up and made my day with a little gaming! Our gamerscore stands at 22,881 and counting! He rocked out to PGR 4, and then he started getting all these friend requests because of high awesomeness levels.

What is really good is that every day played is another chance to catch up to Thomas Riordan and that 29,895 score... Make it happen Ashkihyena!!

Ashkihyena also wrapped up a gamerscore challenge today. Remember? I hear first place is nice this time of year, though I really wouldn't know, since we didn't get there in this challenge. That's ok though... at least playing against the other 9 gamers was enough incentive to get more points! I like points. | permalink | leave comment

Ashkihyena was looking kind of weepy... luckily I was here to 'console' him... heh heh get it? Our gamerscore is fan-frickin-tastic 22,881 . He rocked out to Mass Effect 3, PGR 4, and then nothing... nothing at all...

Oh, guess what? Our gamerscore challenge is going strong... There's so much action in this one, you may pay for the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge!!111! Witness the spectacle. He made some progress on Wheel of Fortune adding an amazing 8 achievements, Star Trek acquiring 5 achievements, and then Ashkihyena had to stop for a bathroom break or something... Humans really are bags of mostly water.

Watch closely because here comes the recap... if you aren't paying attention, you might miss it: Ashkihyena played 5 days last week... pretty solid I guess... I'm not feeling that picky lately. We added 245 points of gamerscore which ain't too shabby. Getting 12 achievements can do that to you. I was there. I saw it! Oh, and from what I remember, Ashkihyena's favorite game last week was Metro: Last Light. He played it on 4 of the days.

I didn't think I would see him yesterday, but Ashkihyena was back and ready for action. Total gamer score is 22,641 points. That is an improvement of 20 points over last time! He rocked out to Metro: Last Light adding 2 achievements, and almost cried with joy. I have that effect on people.

Ashkihyena decided to game yesterday and we rocked out like the three musketeers, except there were only two of us... 22,621 points of total gamerscore and counting... He rocked out to Metro: Last Light, and did it while marvelling at the framerates and stellar particle effects.

Good thing Ashkihyena and I got some play time in! Every day we play is another opportunity to catch up to porschephiliac and that 167,557 gamerscore!
