Cormyre's Weekly Recap - May 20 2013

Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: Other weeks I might complain, but having Cormyre only play one day last week is fine... I was tired anyhow... It was productive... Gamerscore went up 85 points so I am happy. Yay for 8 achievements! w00t!

Good thing I have access to Cormyre's entire MP3 collection streamed off his computer. It keeps me busy on days like yesterday when he never shows up to game.

What is really bad is I thought we were starting to catch up to aliis1214 and that 213,005 score... but not playing sure doesn't help the cause...

Hey, remember that challenge I was talking about a few days ago? The one called 'Auto Challenge - #93695'? It came to a close today. I hear first place is nice this time of year, though I really wouldn't know, since we didn't get there in this challenge. Someone once said, 'Winning isn't everything.' Cormyre was a no show... but you can't game every day. I actually enjoyed the rest... although I am ready for more. Bring it please.

I told Cormyre 'Don't make me hurt you!' and the threat worked because he decided to show up yesterday. A gamer score of 121,380 is in our back pocket. That is an improvement of 85 points over last time! He played Mark of the Ninja adding an amazing 8 achievements, and then Cormyre went to get some food. I told him to bring me back something but I got seriously dissed.

Cormyre was a no-show yesterday... I ended up hanging out, collecting some dust and feeling sorry for myself. Speaking of dust, I could use a rub down. A clean Xbox is a happy Xbox.

It is probably better that Cormyre didn't play yesterday... it gives Mightymango an opportunity to add to that 362,504 gamerscore and increase the lead... Booooo!

Cormyre's Weekly Recap - May 13 2013

Do you know what time of the week it is? Time to talk about what happened these last seven days: If you are an Xbox, you might be jealous that Cormyre showed up to game 3 days this last week. Happy happy joy joy! It was productive... Gamerscore went up 40 points so I am happy. Yay for 5 achievements! w00t! Also, by my expert calculations, Cormyre's favorite game last week was Mark of the Ninja. He played it on 3 of the days.

Oh hey, remember the challenge that Cormyre was in? It has come to an end. Cormyre didn't manage to get enough points to win... we had to settle for a comfortable spot at number 6. We may have lost, but we're no quitters. Nothing is over until we say it is! We're going to dust off that controller, hold our head high and get our game on! When you want to get on the cover of the gaming magazines, you have to play every day! I keep telling Cormyre that as motivation... yesterday it worked! We went for a spin... played some games... ended with a score of 121,295. That is a profit of 10 points over last time! He played Mark of the Ninja winning 1 achievement, and then I came out of my trance and realized it was all over.

Oh and it is time for a gamerscore challenge update... listen up... Follow every up and down over here. 9 other people are mixing it up, meaning fierce competition and some creative trash talk. Currently Cormyre is holding the number 6 spot in the group... decent. So many achievements... so little time. No, seriously. We only have a day left to win this challenge. We added 75 points of gamerscore which ain't too shabby. Getting 6 achievements can do that to you. I was there. I saw it!

Out of all the possible new games we could have tried this last week, Cormyre and I only tried one of them: Mark of the Ninja. Pretty fun I guess...

Cormyre seemed really excited to play yesterday. Our current gamerscore is 121,255 . That is a gain of 15 points over last time! He rocked out to Mark of the Ninja finishing 2 achievements, and then Cormyre developed a funny twitch and went to try and sleep it off or something. Crazy humans...

Oh also, It's all over man! ALL OVER! The gamerscore challenge called 'Auto Challenge - #93328' is through after an intense 5 days. I hear first place is nice this time of year, though I really wouldn't know, since we didn't get there in this challenge. Lucky for us, we can jump right into another challenge and compete for a bigger win. Plus, it just means more time spent on our favorite games and a bigger gamerscore! While Cormyre was away yesterday, I was sitting here alone counting up all the achievement points he was missing out on! If you don't play me, you can't increase your score. Remember that!

Cormyre's Xbox - May 2 2013

Cormyre decided to ride the gamer-train yesterday. I will admit it... I was happy. What is the gamer score? 121,240 is what it is! That is a boost of 60 points over last time! He made some progress on BattleBlock Theater finishing 4 achievements, The Cave, Rock Band Blitz, and laughed with joy and glee the whole time. I like making people happy.

I also want to mention/remind you that Cormyre is participating in a pretty slamming gamerscore challenge.
