Do you know what time of the week it is? Time to talk about what happened these last seven days: If you are an Xbox, you might be jealous that DJ RES showed up to game 6 days this last week. Happy happy joy joy! We added 130 points of gamerscore. Good stuff! Who knew 8 achievements could be worth that much? Ok I knew that...

NEW GAMES! NEW GAMES! NEW GAMES! 2 of them to be exact! F&F: Showdown, and Metro: Last Light. I want more! I want more! Also, by my expert calculations, DJ RES's favorite game last week was F&F: Showdown. He played it on 3 of the days.

My power supply almost exploded! DJ RES turned on the juice and we did some serious gaming! 152,032 points of total gamerscore is pretty good. Admit it. He made some progress on F&F: Showdown, and after we were done, DJ RES hugged me with his eyes. It was one of those platonic hugs... you know...

DJ RES's Xbox - May 15 2013

I told DJ RES 'Hey man, it is time to play games' and YAY! he listened! Gamer score is 152,002. That is a boost of 80 points over last time! That was enough to cross the 152,000 mark! Good stuff! He opened up WoO: Sprint Cars picking up 1 achievement, LEGO Star Wars: TCS picking up 3 achievements, and then I basked in the warm glow of post gaming. Mmmm warm... Also, don't tell DJ RES I told you this, but we have now gamed 10 days in a row... he doesn't like to share that with others. I think that qualifies us for a badge or something... whatever...

This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to leave AB Quality 76 in the dust. Call me crazy, but a 29,191 point cushion is not nearly enough for me... | permalink | leave comment

DJ RES's Weekly Recap - May 13 2013

Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: Oh man are my cores just rocking... DJ RES played seven days last week! SEVEN! That is a NUMBER SEVEN followed by NO ZEROS! HOT! Our gamerscore jumped 115 points which was nice. Getting 7 achievements has that effect.

I was also pretty happy about the 4 new games this last week. They were (in no particular order) Defiance, Doritos Crash Course 2, Star Trek, and WoO: Sprint Cars. I liked them. I think DJ RES did too. Also, by my expert calculations, DJ RES's favorite game last week was LEGO Star Wars: TCS. He played it on 4 of the days.

Are you ready for a recap? I know I am! Giddyup: 6 days of gaming made me pretty happy for some reason. A big holler to DJ RES for honoring me with what little time I know is available. Our gamerscore saw a 35 point boost which is good. I guess that is what completing 2 achievements can do!

I was feeling bored last week and pestered DJ RES to try a new game: Blackwater. It was a lot cooler than I thought it would be. Also, I think DJ RES's favorite game last week was MLB 2K13. He played it on 6 of the days.
