Duff85's Weekly Recap - Jun 17 2013

My eye! It burns! A weekly recap is all that can save me! Here goes: Not two, not five, but SEVEN days of gaming in a row! Last week was as solid as it gets when it comes to Duff85 throwing down with the games. We added 195 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 18 achievements were worth it I guess!

If I had a DOLLAR for every new game I played during the week, I would have 4 bucks! w00t! I can now add Fable III, METAL GEAR RISING, Skylanders Giants, and The Gunstringer to my collection... unless they were rentals or demos or betas. I couldn't tell. Also, I think we can all agree that Duff85's favorite game last week was Team Crossword. He played it on 4 of the days.

So that's it for now. It was a good week. On to the next one. | permalink

I didn't think I would see him yesterday, but Duff85 was back and ready for action. Total gamer score is 293,654 points. That is an improvement of 100 points over last time! He made some progress on Kinect Sesame TV, Skylanders Giants picking up an amazing 7 achievements, The Gunstringer adding 2 achievements, and without even blinking! Ok, maybe he blinked once... | permalink

Duff85 decided to ride the gamer-train yesterday. I will admit it... I was happy. What is the gamer score? 293,554 is what it is! He opened up Gunpowder, METAL GEAR RISING, Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, and oh... don't tell Duff85 this, but I have been getting in a little video chat in the off-hours. I told Duff85 'Don't make me hurt you!' and the threat worked because he decided to show up yesterday. A gamer score of 293,554 is in our back pocket. That is an improvement of 15 points over last time! He opened up Team Crossword gaining 2 achievements, and did it while drooling over my awesome graphics and sound. | permalink

He rocked out to The Gunstringer, and then Duff85 had to stop for a bathroom break or something... Humans really are bags of mostly water. Also of note, Duff85 and I have now played 10 days in a row! Duff85's Weekly Recap - Jun 10 2013

This entry is a little different than the others. It is a recap of the last week of gaming. Check it: Oh man are my cores just rocking... Duff85 played seven days last week! SEVEN! That is a NUMBER SEVEN followed by NO ZEROS! HOT! Ready for this? Last week saw an increase of 725 points! My eye almost bleeds looking at a number that large! Getting 37 achievements can do that to you. I was there. I saw it!

I was feeling a little bored last week and persuaded Duff85 to try a new game: Rocket Riot 3D. It wasn't as cool as I thought it would be. Also, I think we can all agree that Duff85's favorite game last week was Team Crossword. He played it on 5 of the days.

Duff85 must have heard my calling... I was practically startled when his greasy finger pounded my power button. I mean come on... be a little gentle... I am fragile. Just some helpful advice for someone with a 293,459 gamerscore. That is a boost of 205 points over last time! He played Gunpowder, Rocket Riot 3D gaining an amazing 9 achievements, Kinect Sesame TV acquiring 2 achievements, Team Crossword, and after we were done, Duff85 hugged me with his eyes. There are people out there who think video games are violent. But after Duff85 played yesterday with his gamerscore of 293,254 points, there wasn't any violence at all. A little drooling maybe but definitely no violence. That is a profit of 180 points over last time! He rallied Kinect Sesame TV acquiring an amazing 7 achievements, and I think there was some random Live Marketplace browsing, but I wasn't paying attention. | permalink

That is an improvement of 325 points over last time! Another day, another milestone. The 293,000 barrier has fallen! He opened up Team Crossword, Kinect Sesame TV acquiring an amazing 19 achievements, and Duff85 won't admit this, but I had to force him to stop. | permalink

It is that time of the week. I got your weekly recap right here: If Duff85 plays 4 days every week, I guess I can call this a good deal. Many Xboxes have it a lot worse. It was productive... Gamerscore went up 145 points so I am happy. Yay for 9 achievements! w00t!

I persuaded Duff85 to try 2 games last week: Borderlands, and Way of the Dogg. It was a mix of good and bad. Also, according to the records, Duff85's favorite game last week was Borderlands. He played it on 2 of the days.
