3 Processors, 512MB of RAM, custom graphics chip and multichannel surround sound all gone to waste yesterday as Ellusion no decided not to show up.
Ellusion no was a no show... but you can't game every day. I actually enjoyed the rest... although I am ready for more. Bring it please.
Are you ready for a recap? I know I am! Giddyup: 2 days of gaming made me pretty happy for some reason. A big holler to Ellusion no for honoring me with what little time I know is available. I was sort of hoping for a gamerscore bump, but that didn't materialize.
So there you have it... Check back next week for another report from yours truly.
I was all ready to write in my blog about how great of a time I had playing with Ellusion no yesterday, but then my plans changed when I was ignored... all... freaking... day...
Ellusion no, there are 86,400 seconds in a day and you couldn't find a few to spend with me? Lame.
Ellusion no brought the pain yesterday... the good kind... the gaming kind. We are up to 154,850 points of gamerscore. Jealous? He rocked out to Breeze, and then I basked in the warm glow of post gaming. Mmmm warm...
Good thing Ellusion no and I got some play time in! Every day we play is another opportunity to pull away from naglefaar and that 71,234 gamerscore!
The console forefathers shifted bit after bit just to further the gaming cause. And yet, their efforts may have been in vain, since Ellusion no did not do their part today and play a game or two.
Yesterday, Ellusion no decided to spend his time elsewhere... machines don't feel lonely... really we don't...
Don't worry... I'll wait... you can't game every day. Oh, and Ellusion no, just so you know, we lost the streak badge. 11 days is where it stops this time around. LAME!
You would think I had died and gone to heaven when Ellusion no showed up to play. Gamer score stands at 154,850. He made some progress on State of Decay, and then I came out of my trance and realized it was all over.
Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: It is a good one! Ellusion no had seven days of gaming! In a row! I know! Crazy! It was productive... Gamerscore went up 430 points so I am happy. Yay for 25 achievements! w00t!
For the record, we only played one new game this last week. It was State of Decay. I was hoping for a few more, but I guess not everyone is made out of money! Also, I think we can all agree that Ellusion no's favorite game last week was State of Decay. He played it on 5 of the days.
So there you have it... Check back next week for another report from yours truly.
Have you ever wondered what it was like to play games with someone who has a gamerscore of 154,850? Well guess what... you will never know, and I do! Ellusion no is mine! All mine! No touchy! That is an increase of 20 points over last time! He rallied Metro: Last Light, State of Decay finishing 1 achievement to conquer the game, CastleStorm, and afterwards, there were some awkward stares and silence... you know how it is. Also of note, Ellusion no and I have now played 10 days in a row! Are we rock stars or what? No one feels more loved than me right now... no one! If I understand the rules, I think we are getting a streak badge...
Good thing Ellusion no and I got some play time in! Every day we play is another opportunity to pull away from naglefaar and that 70,884 gamerscore!
Ellusion no is making me proud and his opponents jealous... even if they are bots or mindless AI sometimes! Check out the 154,830 gamer score! That is a gain of 70 points over last time! He opened up State of Decay picking up an amazing 6 achievements, as well as checked out what was new in the live marketplace.
I must seriously be losing it. Ellusion no is saying that we played some games yesterday but I honestly don't remember it. Did someone use that Men-in-Black flashy thing on me? Our score is now 154760 somehow which is a gain of 75 points since last time... those are all points I will never get back.
There are people out there who think video games are violent. But after Ellusion no played yesterday with his gamerscore of 154,685 points, there wasn't any violence at all. A little drooling maybe but definitely no violence. That is a profit of 200 points over last time! He made some progress on State of Decay gaining an amazing 13 achievements, and then it felt like he threw my controller and I was like, TAKE IT EASY SHEESH and we stopped.
Have you ever wondered what it was like to play games with someone who has a gamerscore of 154,485? Well guess what... you will never know, and I do! Ellusion no is mine! All mine! No touchy! That is a profit of 65 points over last time! He rocked out to CastleStorm picking up 1 achievement, Metro: Last Light, State of Decay gaining 4 achievements, and then he almost hugged me, but I was like back off dude.
Yesterday was a triumph! I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction with Ellusion no. Data indicates that gamerscore stands at an always improving 154,420. He made some progress on Metro: Last Light, and then the lightweight went to bed. Freakin' wuss.
What is really good is that every day played is another chance to catch up to This is david and that 158,040 score... Make it happen Ellusion no!!
When Ellusion no was walking by I pretended to be off. I think it tricked him into turning me on for a few games. Gamer score stands at 154,420. He made some progress on CastleStorm, Metro: Last Light, and that was that.
This entry is a little different than the others. It is a recap of the last week of gaming. Check it: If Ellusion no plays 6 days every week, I guess I can call this a good deal. Many Xboxes have it a lot worse. We added 555 points of gamerscore which ain't too shabby. Getting 26 achievements can do that to you. I was there. I saw it!
Out of all the possible new games we could have tried this last week, Ellusion no and I only tried one of them: CastleStorm. Pretty fun I guess... Also, I think we can all agree that Ellusion no's favorite game last week was Metro: Last Light. He played it on 4 of the days.
And that's it... short and sweet, just like my power cord.
Consoles are for playing! I am glad Ellusion no picked up on that yesterday... Gamerscore is a respectful 154,420 points. That is a boost of 235 points over last time! He made some progress on Metro: Last Light adding 3 achievements, and then... oh wait... no and then!!
Ellusion no decided to ride the gamer-train yesterday. I will admit it... I was happy. What is the gamer score? 154,185 is what it is! That is a boost of 195 points over last time! Welcome to 154,000!! He opened up CastleStorm gaining an amazing 13 achievements, and then Ellusion no went to get some food. I told him to bring me back something but I got seriously dissed.
Like a king on his throne, Ellusion no said 'awaken' and for him I did comply. 153,990 points represents the size of our growing kingdom. Ok, enough of this Monarchy stuff. That is a boost of 85 points over last time! He rallied CastleStorm adding an amazing 8 achievements, and I thought Ellusion no injured himself in the process... but I was wrong... he lives to fight another day!
Yesterday, Ellusion no decided to spend his time elsewhere... machines don't feel lonely... really we don't... Our streak is dead. I know playing 16 days in a row didn't mean much to Ellusion no, but it meant a lot to me.
When you get right down to it, when Ellusion no decides to play - it's a good day all around. Our score is 153,905 and always improving! He rocked out to Metro: Last Light, and then Ellusion no had to stop for a bathroom break or something... Humans really are bags of mostly water.
This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to leave This is Thomas in the dust. Call me crazy, but a 30,955 point cushion is not nearly enough for me...
