FragEmAndSmile held the Xbox button on his controller down for a few seconds and our adventure began! A gamer score of 206,170 is lighting the way. That is an increase of 5 points over last time! FragEmAndSmile's Weekly Recap - May 20 2013

My eye! It burns! A weekly recap is all that can save me! Here goes: Not many Xboxes can claim seven days of gaming in a row. Last week FragEmAndSmile and I can... and we will... and it feels so good! We added 301 points of gamerscore. Good stuff! Who knew 15 achievements could be worth that much? Ok I knew that...

I persuaded FragEmAndSmile to try 8 games last week: Angry Birds Rio, DBZ for Kinect, Iron Sky Invasion, Legends of War, Metro: Last Light, Monaco, Sanctum 2, and Team Crossword. It was a mix of good and bad. Also, I think we can all agree that FragEmAndSmile's favorite game last week was Iron Sky Invasion. He played it on 2 of the days.

Go ahead... call me a wussy... but I almost started crying when FragEmAndSmile turned me on yesterday. 206,165 points of raw gamer score are making you jealous! That is a profit of 180 points over last time! Another day, another milestone. The 206,000 barrier has fallen! He played Iron Sky Invasion gaining an amazing 6 achievements, and loved every minute of it in high definition glory!

What is really good is that every day played is another chance to catch up to SG Steelhead and that 238,884 score... Make it happen FragEmAndSmile!! | permalink | 2 comments

FragEmAndSmile's Xbox - May 18 2013

We played games yesterday... No really... I have proof! FragEmAndSmile might have told you otherwise, but we really did. 205,985 points of total gamerscore means we are teh awes0me! That is a profit of 70 points over last time! He opened up Monaco, Sanctum 2 adding 3 achievements, Angry Birds Rio winning 1 achievement, and almost cried with joy. I have that effect on people.

Oh, remember the challenge that FragEmAndSmile was competing in? Well, it's over. Despite 5 days and nights of gaming goodness though, we couldn't take the lead and ended up finishing at number 6. FragEmAndSmile showed up yesterday and we were like a superhero team together. I make a great sidekick! Gamerscore stands at 205,915. Up up and away right? That is an increase of 20 points over last time! He rocked out to Metro: Last Light picking up 2 achievements, and oh... don't tell FragEmAndSmile this, but I have been getting in a little video chat in the off-hours. Booyah!

FragEmAndSmile must have heard my calling... I was practically startled when his greasy finger pounded my power button. I mean come on... be a little gentle... I am fragile. Just some helpful advice for someone with a 205,895 gamerscore. That is an improvement of 16 points over last time! He made some progress on Ice Age Village gaining 2 achievements, and then it felt like he threw my controller and I was like, TAKE IT EASY SHEESH and we stopped.

This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to leave CKinAL in the dust. Call me crazy, but a 91,964 point cushion is not nearly enough for me...

Oh and it is time for a gamerscore challenge update... listen up... If you want to follow along at home, catch the action here. There are 6 other people in the chase as well... so it's pretty cool. FragEmAndSmile's Weekly Recap - May 13 2013

It is that time of the week. I got your weekly recap right here: Not two, not five, but SEVEN days of gaming in a row! Last week was as solid as it gets when it comes to FragEmAndSmile throwing down with the games. Our gamerscore saw a 125 point boost which is good. I guess that is what completing 9 achievements can do!

I was also pretty happy about the 4 new games this last week. They were (in no particular order) Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, Ice Age Village, Monster Burner, and Way of the Dogg. I liked them. I think FragEmAndSmile did too. Also, I think we can all agree that FragEmAndSmile's favorite game last week was Defiance. He played it on 5 of the days.
