Gizmo Monkey's Xbox - May 22 2013
Gizmo Monkey hit the switch and fired me up yesterday... his total gamer score is 355,005.That is an improvement of 200 points over last time! Another day, another milestone. The 355,000 barrier has fallen! He made some progress on R.E. CODE: Veronica X adding 2 achievements, as well as basked in the glow of the awesome dashboard software!
Oh I almost forgot to mention that Gizmo Monkey has joined a gamerscore challenge titled 'Auto Challenge - #93847'. Go check it out and follow along.

Gizmo Monkey was looking kind of weepy... luckily I was here to 'console' him... heh heh get it? Our gamerscore is fan-frickin-tastic 354,805 . That is an increase of 250 points over last time! He opened up R.E. CODE: Veronica X acquiring 5 achievements, as well as stared off into space... thinking about the one that got away.

It is hard to believe another week has passed. Here is the recap: You can't ask for a better week than when Gizmo Monkey shows up to play Seven days in a row!! Too bad gamerscore isn't money because with an increase of 1135 points we could make some bank. Yay for 63 achievements! w00t! Also, according to the records, Gizmo Monkey's favorite game last week was Tales of Vesperia. He played it on 7 of the days.
So that's it for now. It was a good week. On to the next one.

What time is it? Time to tell you about yesterday when Gizmo Monkey came to play. Gamer score stands at 354,555. That is a profit of 110 points over last time! He made some progress on Dead Island Riptide acquiring 5 achievements, Tales of Vesperia gaining 1 achievement, and think of all the things we learned! Ha... look at me still typing this blog entry when there is gaming to do! Let's keep it up Gizmo Monkey!
Oh hey, remember the challenge that Gizmo Monkey was in? It has come to an end. Gizmo Monkey didn't manage to get enough points to win... we had to settle for a comfortable spot at number 3. We may have lost, but we're no quitters. Nothing is over until we say it is! We're going to dust off that controller, hold our head high and get our game on! We're marching right into another challenge and this time, we'll be taking home the gold! At least I think that is the plan...

I didn't think I would see him yesterday, but Gizmo Monkey was back and ready for action. Total gamer score is 354,445 points. That is a boost of 220 points over last time! He played Tales of Vesperia adding 3 achievements, Dead Island Riptide adding 4 achievements, as well as basked in the glow of the awesome dashboard software!

I saw Gizmo Monkey walk by yesterday morning... I was hoping he would come play and he did. 354,225 points and climbing. That is an improvement of 10 points over last time! He opened up Tales of Vesperia acquiring 2 achievements, and then I needed a nap. Don't judge me! It's a lot of work pushing all those pixels.
Hey, I almost forgot! The gamerscore challenge that Gizmo Monkey is competing in is on day 3 and we're doing our best to win this thing. Don't take my word for it! See for yourself! There are 9 other people rocking out on this thing which keeps it fun. Currently Gizmo Monkey is holding the number 2 spot in the group... decent. When you get right down to it, when Gizmo Monkey decides to play - it's a good day all around. Our score is 354,215 and always improving! That is an increase of 165 points over last time! He made some progress on Silent Hill HD gaining 1 achievement, METAL GEAR RISING finishing 4 achievements, Tales of Vesperia acquiring 4 achievements, and after that, called it a day.
And..... guess what? I will reveal the latest gamerscore challenge status to you as a matter of public record. Follow every up and down over here. 9 other people are also involved... which is madness. Currently, Gizmo Monkey is setting the pace, though, jumping into the lead and hoping to hold on through the end of the challenge. With 3 days to go, anything can still happen though...

I heard someone tell Gizmo Monkey to go play outside and he was like 'screw that!' so we did some gaming. Our gamerscore is currently 354,050 points. That is a profit of 290 points over last time! We have now entered the 354,000 GS club! He made some progress on Tales of Vesperia, Silent Hill HD picking up an amazing 15 achievements, and then nothing... nothing at all...
Oh BTW, did you know that Gizmo Monkey is competing in a gamerscore challenge? There's so much action in this one, you may pay for the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge!!111! Witness the spectacle. If I was you, I'd subscribe to the trash talk RSS feed for this one - 9 other competitors are battling with their skills and egos. Currently Gizmo Monkey and I are on top of the challenge mountain... it's so beautiful, and high. I can see my house from here. Is that an airplane, or a space shuttle? How's the weather down there? We just have to keep it up... keep playing the game... keep getting the points.

I was about to feel sorry for myself, until Gizmo Monkey showed up and made my day with a little gaming! Our gamerscore stands at 353,760 and counting! That is a profit of 325 points over last time! He opened up Silent Hill HD winning an amazing 21 achievements, and... hmmm... maybe that was all... it felt like we played more games.
Oh, also... we're probably going to see a lot more of Gizmo Monkey over the next few days as well. It is because he is in a gamerscore challenge titled 'Auto Challenge - #93611'. BRING IT ON!

It is that time of the week. I got your weekly recap right here: It is a good one! Gizmo Monkey had seven days of gaming! In a row! I know! Crazy! Ready for this? Last week saw an increase of 1790 points! My eye almost bleeds looking at a number that large! Getting 70 achievements can do that to you. I was there. I saw it!
There were only a few games I wanted to try this week Gizmo Monkey and I only tried one of them: Sherlock Holmes (TTSH). Oh, and from what I remember, Gizmo Monkey's favorite game last week was Sherlock Holmes (TTSH). He played it on 4 of the days.
So there you have it... Check back next week for another report from yours truly.

Gizmo Monkey had to choose between watching TV and playing with me and I am happy to say I won... this time... Gamerscore is at 353,420 points. That is a profit of 50 points over last time! He made some progress on Tales of Vesperia gaining 3 achievements, Dead Island Riptide, Silent Hill HD acquiring 1 achievement, and loved every minute of it in high definition glory! Also, Gizmo Monkey and I have played 10 days in a row... Yay! We get a badge! Look at it and weep!
Also, remember the challenge that Gizmo Monkey was participating in? It has wrapped up. Despite 5 days and nights of gaming goodness though, we couldn't take the lead and ended up finishing at number 2. You know, sometimes someone else just has better cheat codes than you do -- I mean, that's the only explanation for a loss in this challenge!!!

I told Gizmo Monkey 'Hey man, it is time to play games' and YAY! he listened! Gamer score is 353,370. That is a boost of 10 points over last time! He rallied Star Ocean: TLH adding 1 achievement, as well as checked out what was new in the live marketplace.
Oh and it is time for a gamerscore challenge update... listen up... If you are curious, follow along over here. There are 9 other people playing along as well... they better watch out. Out of all those people, Gizmo Monkey is currently parked at number 2. Only one day left though... We better get on it if we are going to pull this thing out.

Gizmo Monkey showed up yesterday ready to dominate. Total gamer score stands at 353,360. That is an increase of 730 points over last time! Another day, another milestone. The 353,000 barrier has fallen! He made some progress on Sherlock Holmes (TTSH) gaining an amazing 19 achievements to complete the game, Star Ocean: TLH, and almost cried with joy. I have that effect on people.
I also want to mention/remind you that Gizmo Monkey is participating in a pretty slamming gamerscore challenge. There's so much action in this one, you may pay for the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge!!111! Witness the spectacle. There are 9 other people playing along as well... they better watch out. There are people out there who think video games are violent. But after Gizmo Monkey played yesterday with his gamerscore of 352,630 points, there wasn't any violence at all. A little drooling maybe but definitely no violence. That is a boost of 300 points over last time! He made some progress on MGS PEACE WALKER HD picking up 2 achievements, Silent Hill HD, Sherlock Holmes (TTSH) adding an amazing 13 achievements, Star Ocean: TLH, and after we were done, Gizmo Monkey hugged me with his eyes. It was one of those platonic hugs... you know...

Consoles are for playing! I am glad Gizmo Monkey picked up on that yesterday... Gamerscore is a respectful 352,290 points. That is an increase of 555 points over last time! That puts us above 352,000 points! He rallied The Amazing Spider-Man acquiring an amazing 22 achievements, Dead Island Riptide, and I thought Gizmo Monkey injured himself in the process... but I was wrong... he lives to fight another day!
Oh, also... we're probably going to see a lot more of Gizmo Monkey over the next few days as well. It is because he is in a gamerscore challenge titled 'Auto Challenge - #93424'. BRING IT ON!

Gizmo Monkey is making me proud and his opponents jealous... even if they are bots or mindless AI sometimes! Check out the 351,735 gamer score! That is a gain of 105 points over last time! He rocked out to MGS PEACE WALKER HD picking up 4 achievements, Dead Island Riptide adding 3 achievements, as well as checked out what was new in the live marketplace.

Watch closely because here comes the recap... if you aren't paying attention, you might miss it: So yeah... Last week Gizmo Monkey showed up 6 days total and logged some serious gaming. Our gamerscore jumped 340 points which was nice. Getting 20 achievements has that effect.
Out of all the possible new games we could have tried this last week, Gizmo Monkey and I only tried one of them: Dead Island Riptide. Pretty fun I guess... Also, I think we can all agree that Gizmo Monkey's favorite game last week was MGS PEACE WALKER HD. He played it on 4 of the days.
And that's all I got. I'm not a writer... just an Xbox.

He rallied Dead Island Riptide picking up 1 achievement, MGS PEACE WALKER HD adding 1 achievement, and wished it would never end, but it did and that was sad.

Gizmo Monkey must have heard my calling... I was practically startled when his greasy finger pounded my power button. I mean come on... be a little gentle... I am fragile. Just some helpful advice for someone with a 351,575 gamerscore. That is an improvement of 135 points over last time! He opened up The Amazing Spider-Man gaining 5 achievements, MGS PEACE WALKER HD adding 2 achievements, and laughed with joy and glee the whole time. I like making people happy.

I was all ready to write in my blog about how great of a time I had playing with Gizmo Monkey yesterday, but then my plans changed when I was ignored... all... freaking... day... PS, the streak is gone... Did you know that we played 19 days in a row up until now?

Oh man, Gizmo Monkey was totally in the gaming zone yesterday when he fired me up to play. 351,440 points of total gamerscore doesn't do his skills justice. That is an improvement of 130 points over last time! He made some progress on Dead Island Riptide, American Nightmare gaining 2 achievements, Mortal Kombat, OF: Red River acquiring an amazing 7 achievements, BattleBlock Theater, Tales of Vesperia, and it's a good thing he stopped there, otherwise the concentrated awesomeness could have blown out my circuits.
