GreyDestiny's Weekly Recap - May 20 2013
It is hard to believe another week has passed. Here is the recap: If your Xbox is depressed, try playing seven days in a row like GreyDestiny did last week. It has a way of making you a bit giddy... This wasn't just low-key gaming either... our score bounced 800 freakin' points! Can you believe it? In one week? YES! Getting 35 achievements has that effect.
For the record, we only played one new game this last week. It was Metro: Last Light. I was hoping for a few more, but I guess not everyone is made out of money! Also, according to the records, GreyDestiny's favorite game last week was Happy Wars. He played it on 5 of the days.

GreyDestiny likes to game, I like to game, this is a match made in heaven! It takes a gamer score like 250,545 to be as cool as him. That is an improvement of 10 points over last time! He made some progress on Happy Wars winning 1 achievement, The Walking Dead, Gears of War: Judgment, as well as basked in the glow of the awesome dashboard software!

When you get right down to it, when GreyDestiny decides to play - it's a good day all around. Our score is 250,535 and always improving! That is a profit of 365 points over last time! He made some progress on Metro: Last Light winning an amazing 17 achievements, and after that, called it a day.

I told GreyDestiny 'Hey man, it is time to play games' and YAY! he listened! Gamer score is 250,170. That is a boost of 55 points over last time! He played Happy Wars, Metro: Last Light picking up 5 achievements, and then the lightweight went to bed. Freakin' wuss.

When GreyDestiny was walking by I pretended to be off. I think it tricked him into turning me on for a few games. Gamer score stands at 250,115. That is a profit of 50 points over last time! He rocked out to Happy Wars, Metro: Last Light finishing 4 achievements, and without even blinking! Ok, maybe he blinked once...

GreyDestiny seemed really excited to play yesterday. Our current gamerscore is 250,065 . That is a boost of 30 points over last time! He opened up Metro: Last Light picking up 3 achievements, and that was that.

GreyDestiny decided to game yesterday and we rocked out like the three musketeers, except there were only two of us... 250,035 points of total gamerscore and counting... That is an increase of 120 points over last time! Another day, another barrier shattered. The 250,000 mark has been crossed! He played Happy Wars, Gears of War: Judgment, Borderlands 2, Doritos Crash Course 2 finishing 1 achievement, FIFA 13 winning 4 achievements, and then I needed a nap. Don't judge me! It's a lot of work pushing all those pixels.

Uhhh... I have a question for GreyDestiny. Our gamerscore was 249745 but somehow it is now 249915 which means that 170 points were mysteriously added!! Like magic! I suspect betrayal... and it makes me want to cry.

Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: Not two, not five, but SEVEN days of gaming in a row! Last week was as solid as it gets when it comes to GreyDestiny throwing down with the games. I feel like i'm bragging when I say our score climbed 955 points last week... insanity! I guess that is what completing 29 achievements can do!
I was feeling a little bored last week and told GreyDestiny to try a new game: Doritos Crash Course 2. It wasn't as cool as I thought it would be. Also, I think GreyDestiny's favorite game last week was Dead Island Riptide. He played it on 7 of the days.
And that's it... short and sweet, just like my power cord.

GreyDestiny really threw down yesterday. It was good to see! I wish you could have been there! Last time I checked, his gamer score is 249,745. That is an increase of 355 points over last time! He opened up Dead Island Riptide finishing an amazing 10 achievements to master the game, and did it while drooling over my awesome graphics and sound. It is worth mentioning that we have played 10 days in a row! Give us the badge for streaking! w00t!

GreyDestiny came to represent the gaming world. 249,390 points and counting! That is an improvement of 195 points over last time! He rocked out to NHL® 13, Dead Island Riptide adding 5 achievements, and then GreyDestiny developed a funny twitch and went to try and sleep it off or something. Crazy humans...

GreyDestiny had to choose between watching TV and playing with me and I am happy to say I won... this time... Gamerscore is at 249,195 points. That is an improvement of 60 points over last time! He rallied Doritos Crash Course 2 winning 2 achievements, Dead Island Riptide gaining 3 achievements, as well as basked in the glow of the awesome dashboard software!

GreyDestiny decided to ride the gamer-train yesterday. I will admit it... I was happy. What is the gamer score? 249,135 is what it is! That is an increase of 155 points over last time! We have now entered the 249,000 GS club! He rocked out to Dead Island Riptide, and oh... don't tell GreyDestiny this, but I have been dumbing down the AI lately... I am hoping it keeps him coming back for more! MUHAHAHA!

GreyDestiny decided to play yesterday. Check out the 248,980 gamer score! That is an improvement of 55 points over last time! He rocked out to COD: Black Ops II, Doritos Crash Course 2 gaining 5 achievements, and then GreyDestiny had to stop for a bathroom break or something... Humans really are bags of mostly water.

Like a king on his throne, GreyDestiny said 'awaken' and for him I did comply. 248,880 points represents the size of our growing kingdom. Ok, enough of this Monarchy stuff. That is a profit of 90 points over last time! He made some progress on Dead Island Riptide picking up 1 achievement, and think of all the things we learned! Ha... look at me still typing this blog entry when there is gaming to do! Let's keep it up GreyDestiny!

Ok, here it is... your weekly recap of gaming: If GreyDestiny plays 6 days every week, I guess I can call this a good deal. Many Xboxes have it a lot worse. We added 530 points of gamerscore. Good stuff! Who knew 28 achievements could be worth that much? Ok I knew that...
I was also pretty happy about the 2 new games this last week. They were (in no particular order) Dead Island Riptide, and Family Guy: BTTM. I liked them. I think GreyDestiny did too. Oh, and from what I remember, GreyDestiny's favorite game last week was Dead Island Riptide. He played it on 6 of the days.
And that is the news for now... Check back next week... same bat time, same bat channel...

GreyDestiny must have heard my calling... I was practically startled when his greasy finger pounded my power button. I mean come on... be a little gentle... I am fragile. Just some helpful advice for someone with a 248,760 gamerscore. That is a boost of 235 points over last time! He made some progress on Family Guy: BTTM gaining an amazing 16 achievements, Dead Island Riptide gaining 1 achievement, and then he tried to watch TV, but I killed the power... If I can't have him, no one can.

3 Processors, 512MB of RAM, custom graphics chip and multichannel surround sound all gone to waste yesterday as GreyDestiny decided not to show up. Normally I wouldn't be so shocked, but after 12 days of gaming... Wow. Either some of those so called responsibilities got in the way or the apocalypse is beginning.
