High Knight's Weekly Recap - May 20 2013
Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: I told High Knight that 5 days of playing would be ideal... so last week there was some extra effort to get us there. Good job! We added 560 points of gamerscore which ain't too shabby. Getting 39 achievements can do that to you. I was there. I saw it!
I was also pretty happy about the 2 new games this last week. They were (in no particular order) BioShock Infinite, and Metro: Last Light. I liked them. I think High Knight did too. Also, according to the records, High Knight's favorite game last week was BioShock Infinite. He played it on 4 of the days.
And that is all I got... it's not much, but it is interesting.

High Knight decided to game yesterday and we rocked out like the three musketeers, except there were only two of us... 156,943 points of total gamerscore and counting... That is a profit of 20 points over last time! He played Metro: Last Light finishing 2 achievements, and I think there was some random Live Marketplace browsing, but I wasn't paying attention.
This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to prevent Badson42 from leaving us in the dust. Call me crazy, but that 48,583 point deficit is totally doable...
Also, High Knight went and accepted a gamerscore challenge, so I'm stocking up on coffee for the overtime I'll be working over the coming days. Check it out... the challenge is called 'LOLNHL Pens over Sens! While at the beach!!!'.

I didn't think I would see him yesterday, but High Knight was back and ready for action. Total gamer score is 156,923 points. That is an improvement of 170 points over last time! He opened up BioShock Infinite winning an amazing 10 achievements, and after we were done, High Knight hugged me with his eyes. It was one of those platonic hugs... you know...

When you want to get on the cover of the gaming magazines, you have to play every day! I keep telling High Knight that as motivation... yesterday it worked! We went for a spin... played some games... ended with a score of 156,753. That is a gain of 230 points over last time! He opened up BioShock Infinite gaining an amazing 16 achievements, and almost cried with joy. I have that effect on people.
Oh hey, remember the challenge that High Knight was in? It has come to an end. Guess who the big loser was? High Knight... booo... oh well. we tried... came in at number 2. Lucky for us, we can jump right into another challenge and compete for a bigger win. Plus, it just means more time spent on our favorite games and a bigger gamerscore! I guess we won something after all!

I didn't know High Knight even knew that many people. Currently High Knight is hanging on to the number 5 spot. Only one day left though... We better get on it if we are going to pull this thing out.

High Knight had the funny 'non-gaming' look in his eyes yesterday so I just kept to myself...
Hey, I almost forgot! The gamerscore challenge that High Knight is competing in is on day 3 and we're doing our best to win this thing. Follow every up and down over here. There are 6 other people rocking out on this thing which keeps it fun. Out of all those people, High Knight is currently parked at number 2. We just have to keep plugging away at it for these next 2 days... insert game... push buttons... get points.

High Knight showed up yesterday and we were like a superhero team together. I make a great sidekick! Gamerscore stands at 156,523. Up up and away right? That is a boost of 130 points over last time! He made some progress on BioShock Infinite winning an amazing 9 achievements, and oh... remember to check out my avatar. Isn't he looking awesome lately?
This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to leave tandor69 in the dust. Call me crazy, but a 121,588 point cushion is not nearly enough for me...
Oh BTW, did you know that High Knight is competing in a gamerscore challenge? There's so much action in this one, you may pay for the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge!!111! Witness the spectacle. There are 6 other people rocking out on this thing which keeps it fun. Currently, High Knight has been using every power-up in his achievement-gaining arsenal, rocking the lead with authority! No time for defense though... with 3 days left, we'll take the fight to them!

I thought High Knight just wanted to listen to music or watch a DVD. Turns out he was there to game. With a gamer score of 156,393, I should have known that was the case. That is a boost of 10 points over last time! He played BioShock Infinite winning 2 achievements, as well as basked in the glow of the awesome dashboard software!

I have seen some crazy stuff in my time, but High Knight not showing up to game yesterday really takes the cake. It has been 12 days!!
What is really bad is I thought we were starting to catch up to Elem3ntal80 and that 204,725 score... but not playing sure doesn't help the cause...

Oh hey... also... I can't even believe that the gamerscore challenge formerly-known-as 'LOLNHL Playoffs baby!' is over. Those 5 days flew by in a whirlwind of achievements and trash talk. I hear first place is nice this time of year, though I really wouldn't know, since we didn't get there in this challenge. But, there is always next time I guess... A special thanks to the other 6 people in the competion. Good times.
