LAFTA's Xbox - May 18 2013
I thought maybe the power was out yesterday... imagine my surprise when LAFTA hit the switches! Gamerscore stands at 250,708. That is an increase of 1,060 points over last time! Another day, another barrier shattered. The 250,000 mark has been crossed! He rocked out to Toy Story Mania! gaining an amazing 49 achievements to master the game, Amped 3 gaining 1 achievement, Fruit Ninja Kinect adding 1 achievement to master the game, and loved every minute of it in high definition glory! Also, don't tell LAFTA I told you this, but we have now gamed 470 days in a row... he doesn't like to share that with others.
Hey, I almost forgot! The gamerscore challenge that LAFTA is competing in is on day 3 and we're doing our best to win this thing. If you want to see how good I'm doing, check it out! There are 9 other people playing along as well... they better watch out. Currently, LAFTA is nuking the field from his number one spot!! We just have to keep it up... keep playing the game... keep getting the points.

LAFTA showed up yesterday, which is good cause we make a great gaming team. I do millions of calculations a second and he pushes buttons! Our gamerscore is 249,648. That is a gain of 1,110 points over last time! Another day, another milestone. The 249,000 barrier has fallen! He played Paintball 2009 finishing an amazing 6 achievements, Amped 3 winning an amazing 6 achievements, and then I basked in the warm glow of post gaming. Mmmm warm...
And..... guess what? I will reveal the latest gamerscore challenge status to you as a matter of public record. Bookmark this link now and check out all the action! There are 9 other people rocking out on this thing which keeps it fun. That doesn't matter though because LAFTA is beating them all! Number one baby! It's good to be in the lead, but there's still 3 days left in the challenge and 9 challengers looking to eclipse our achievements with some of their own.

LAFTA decided to game yesterday and we rocked out like the three musketeers, except there were only two of us... 248,538 points of total gamerscore and counting... That is a profit of 1,710 points over last time! Another day, another milestone. The 248,000 barrier has fallen! He rallied Victorious adding an amazing 42 achievements to finish the game, Paintball 2009 acquiring 5 achievements, Jurassic: The Hunted winning 2 achievements, Hulk Hogan Main Event acquiring an amazing 14 achievements, and then I told him to keep playing but he didn't... out of spite I think.
Oh BTW, did you know that LAFTA is competing in a gamerscore challenge? If you want to see how good I'm doing, check it out! 9 other people are throwing down in this challenge. If I do the math correctly, it means that 9 players X 5 days means a whole lot of trash talk! Current rank out of all those people is number one though. Everyone else is jealous... I feel their hate. But, there are still 4 long days left! We need to keep this lead!

I told LAFTA 'Don't make me hurt you!' and the threat worked because he decided to show up yesterday. A gamer score of 246,828 is in our back pocket. That is a boost of 590 points over last time! He made some progress on MLB 2K6 adding 2 achievements to defeat the game, Jurassic: The Hunted winning 3 achievements, Farm Frenzy 2 winning 4 achievements, and it's a good thing he stopped there, otherwise the concentrated awesomeness could have blown out my circuits.
Good thing LAFTA and I got some play time in! Every day we play is another opportunity to pull away from NocWis89 and that 7,665 gamerscore!
Also, LAFTA went and accepted a gamerscore challenge, so I'm stocking up on coffee for the overtime I'll be working over the coming days. Check it out... the challenge is called 'Auto Challenge - #93582'.

We played games yesterday... No really... I have proof! LAFTA might have told you otherwise, but we really did. 246,238 points of total gamerscore means we are teh awes0me! That is an improvement of 570 points over last time! We have now entered the 246,000 GS club! He played Farm Frenzy 2 picking up 2 achievements, Bejeweled LIVE, and then I needed a nap. Don't judge me! It's a lot of work pushing all those pixels.
LAFTA's Weekly Recap - May 13 2013
Are you ready for a recap? I know I am! Giddyup: Not two, not five, but SEVEN days of gaming in a row! Last week was as solid as it gets when it comes to LAFTA throwing down with the games. Too bad gamerscore isn't money because with an increase of 5800 points we could make some bank. Yay for 171 achievements! w00t!
For the record, we played 7 new games over the last week. They were Backyard Football '10, College Hoops 2K6, Dream Track Nation, Jurassic: The Hunted, ROOKIE RUSH, Sandlot Sluggers, and Sonic's UGC. They were all fun... in their own little ways. Also, by my expert calculations, LAFTA's favorite game last week was Dream Track Nation. He played it on 5 of the days.
So that's it for now. It was a good week. On to the next one.

LAFTA likes to game, I like to game, this is a match made in heaven! It takes a gamer score like 245,668 to be as cool as him. That is a boost of 95 points over last time! He opened up Dream Track Nation adding 4 achievements to conquer the game, and then LAFTA had to stop for a bathroom break or something... Humans really are bags of mostly water.
Also, remember the challenge that LAFTA was participating in? It has wrapped up. Despite 5 days and nights of gaming goodness though, we couldn't take the lead and ended up finishing at number 6. We may have lost, but we're no quitters. Nothing is over until we say it is! We're going to dust off that controller, hold our head high and get our game on! We're marching right into another challenge and this time, we'll be taking home the gold! At least I think that is the plan...

LAFTA really threw down yesterday. It was good to see! I wish you could have been there! Last time I checked, his gamer score is 245,573. That is an increase of 40 points over last time! He rocked out to ROOKIE RUSH gaining 2 achievements to master the game, Dream Track Nation adding 2 achievements, Bejeweled LIVE, and then nothing... nothing at all...
I also want to mention/remind you that LAFTA is participating in a pretty slamming gamerscore challenge. Let me link you to the daily updates and trash talking. If I was you, I'd subscribe to the trash talk RSS feed for this one - 9 other competitors are battling with their skills and egos. Out of all those people, LAFTA is currently parked at number 5. So many achievements... so little time. No, seriously. We only have a day left to win this challenge. Let's go!

LAFTA is the best... he treats me right, I treat him right. It is a good thing we have going here. Gamer score stands at 245,533. Not too shabby! That is a gain of 30 points over last time! He rallied Jurassic: The Hunted adding an amazing 16 achievements, Dream Track Nation adding 1 achievement, and laughed with joy and glee the whole time. I like making people happy.

LAFTA must have heard my calling... I was practically startled when his greasy finger pounded my power button. I mean come on... be a little gentle... I am fragile. Just some helpful advice for someone with a 245,503 gamerscore. That is a gain of 500 points over last time! He opened up Jurassic: The Hunted finishing 4 achievements, Dream Track Nation winning 1 achievement, and then nothing... nothing at all...
What is really good is that every day played is another chance to pull away from Evil Tactician and that 11,360 score... Make it happen LAFTA!!
Oh hey, time for the gamerscore challenge update too... LAFTA still has that going on and stuff. Don't take my word for it! See for yourself! 9 other competitors are racking up achievements and powering up their gamerscores, hoping to secure a victory! Current rank out of everyone is Number one though. So there... Let's not get comfortable resting on our laurels. We've still got 3 days left and there's a lot of achievements out there for the earning.

Like I always tell LAFTA, gaming is like money... the more the better! So fill up my pockets baby! All that matters is that our gamerscore is 245,003 points and on the rise. That is a boost of 785 points over last time! That was enough to cross the 245,000 mark! Good stuff! He rallied Dream Track Nation acquiring 4 achievements, ROOKIE RUSH picking up an amazing 21 achievements, and then he almost hugged me, but I was like back off dude.
Oh, guess what? Our gamerscore challenge is going strong... Follow every up and down over here. 9 other people are mixing it up, meaning fierce competition and some creative trash talk. Currently LAFTA is hanging on to the number 2 spot. With 4 days to go, anything can still happen though... get on it!

LAFTA is awesome! Just plain radical even... I say that because we played some games. Did you know our gamerscore is 244,218? That is a profit of 1,350 points over last time! That puts us above 244,000 points! He rallied Sandlot Sluggers adding an amazing 45 achievements to defeat the game, ROOKIE RUSH adding an amazing 22 achievements, and laughed with joy and glee the whole time. I like making people happy. For those of you counting, LAFTA and I have played 460 days in a row... that has to be some kind of record.
Oh also... LAFTA has joined a gamerscore challenge titled 'Auto Challenge - #93396'. Go talk some trash.

I told LAFTA 'Hey man, it is time to play games' and YAY! he listened! Gamer score is 242,868. That is a profit of 3,000 points over last time! Another day, another barrier shattered. The 240,000 mark has been crossed! He rocked out to Backyard Football '10 picking up an amazing 10 achievements to conquer the game, Sonic's UGC winning an amazing 34 achievements to master the game, College Hoops 2K6 gaining 5 achievements to finish the game, and then he tried to watch TV, but I killed the power... If I can't have him, no one can.
LAFTA's Weekly Recap - May 6 2013
Another week, another recap... and you love me for it: Not many Xboxes can claim seven days of gaming in a row. Last week LAFTA and I can... and we will... and it feels so good! We really made it happen on the gamerscore front. An increase of 785 points makes for a nice bounty. Those 35 achievements were worth it I guess! Oh, and I want to mention that LAFTA's favorite game last week was a retro title... Game Room in fact... He played it on 5 of the days.
And that is the news for now... Check back next week... same bat time, same bat channel...

I thought LAFTA just wanted to listen to music or watch a DVD. Turns out he was there to game. With a gamer score of 239,193, I should have known that was the case. That is an increase of 80 points over last time! He rocked out to Game Room picking up 4 achievements, and I thought LAFTA injured himself in the process... but I was wrong... he lives to fight another day!

LAFTA seemed really excited to play yesterday. Our current gamerscore is 239,113 . That is a gain of 30 points over last time! He rallied Wordament gaining 3 achievements to finish the game, and did it while drooling over my awesome graphics and sound.
This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to leave Elem3ntal80 in the dust. Call me crazy, but a 34,608 point cushion is not nearly enough for me...

Do you know what time of the week it is? Time to talk about what happened these last seven days: Oh man are my cores just rocking... LAFTA played seven days last week! SEVEN! That is a NUMBER SEVEN followed by NO ZEROS! HOT! Ready for this? Last week saw an increase of 4020 points! My eye almost bleeds looking at a number that large! Getting 127 achievements can do that to you. I was there. I saw it!
If I had a DOLLAR for every new game I played during the week, I would have 8 bucks! w00t! I can now add Amped 3, Battleship, CSI: Deadly Intent, Cut the Rope: Exp., GR - Asteroids Deluxe, Game Room, Mayhem 3D, and Wordament to my collection... unless they were rentals or demos or betas. I couldn't tell. Also, I think LAFTA's favorite game last week was Battleship. He played it on 4 of the days.
And that is all I got... it's not much, but it is interesting.

LAFTA came to represent the gaming world. 239,083 points and counting! That is an increase of 170 points over last time! Welcome to 239,000!! He opened up Wordament winning an amazing 14 achievements, and without even blinking! Ok, maybe he blinked once...
LAFTA also wrapped up a gamerscore challenge today. Remember? I hear first place is nice this time of year, though I really wouldn't know, since we didn't get there in this challenge. But, there is always next time I guess... A special thanks to the other 9 people in the competion. Good times.
