MG THABO had to choose between watching TV and playing with me and I am happy to say I won... this time... Gamerscore is at 172,442 points. He opened up TC's Ghost Recon FS, and did it while drooling over my awesome graphics and sound.
MG THABO brought the pain yesterday... the good kind... the gaming kind. We are up to 172,442 points of gamerscore. Jealous? That is a gain of 170 points over last time! He rocked out to Metro: Last Light finishing 5 achievements, and then it felt like he threw my controller and I was like, TAKE IT EASY SHEESH and we stopped.
Wow... MG THABO must have some kids or pets or dragons or something thrashing around the house... I heard lots of noise, but didn't see any gaming. That's alright, animals and people first, game consoles always second... I don't expect much else.
There are people out there who think video games are violent. But after MG THABO played yesterday with his gamerscore of 172,272 points, there wasn't any violence at all. A little drooling maybe but definitely no violence. He played TC's Ghost Recon FS, and did it while drooling over my awesome graphics and sound.
This entry is a little different than the others. It is a recap of the last week of gaming. Check it: So yeah... Last week MG THABO showed up 6 days total and logged some serious gaming. It was productive... Gamerscore went up 440 points so I am happy. Yay for 28 achievements! w00t!
Out of all the possible new games we could have tried this last week, MG THABO and I only tried one of them: Metro: Last Light. Pretty fun I guess... Oh, and from what I remember, MG THABO's favorite game last week was TC's Ghost Recon FS. He played it on 4 of the days.

He made some progress on Metro: Last Light picking up an amazing 11 achievements, and then MG THABO had to stop for a bathroom break or something... Humans really are bags of mostly water.

That is a gain of 115 points over last time! That puts us above 172,000 points! He opened up TC's Ghost Recon FS picking up 5 achievements, and I think there was some random Live Marketplace browsing, but I wasn't paying attention.
MG THABO showed up yesterday, which is good cause we make a great gaming team. I do millions of calculations a second and he pushes buttons! Our gamerscore is 171,922. That is a profit of 20 points over last time! He made some progress on Rock Band 3, TC's Ghost Recon FS winning 1 achievement, and without even blinking! Ok, maybe he blinked once...

He rocked out to TC's Ghost Recon FS finishing 2 achievements, Magic 2013, and then I basked in the warm glow of post gaming. Mmmm warm...
If I was MG THABO, I would have totally played some games yesterday... but I am obviously not him because that did not happen.
Ok, here it is... your weekly recap of gaming: 4 days of gaming made me pretty happy for some reason. A big holler to MG THABO for honoring me with what little time I know is available. Our gamerscore jumped 25 points which was nice. Getting 4 achievements has that effect. Oh, and I want to mention that MG THABO's favorite game last week was an RPG... Dragon's Dogma in fact... He played it on 2 of the days.

My eye! It burns! A weekly recap is all that can save me! Here goes: Oh man are my cores just rocking... MG THABO played seven days last week! SEVEN! That is a NUMBER SEVEN followed by NO ZEROS! HOT! This wasn't just low-key gaming either... our score bounced 635 freakin' points! Can you believe it? In one week? YES! Getting 36 achievements has that effect.
I convinced MG THABO to try 2 games last week: Homefront, and SCOTT PILGRIM THE GAME. It was a mix of good and bad. Also, I think we can all agree that MG THABO's favorite game last week was Homefront. He played it on 3 of the days.

I saw MG THABO walk by yesterday morning... I was hoping he would come play and he did. 171,522 points and climbing. That is a profit of 225 points over last time! He opened up Homefront finishing 1 achievement, Guitar Hero Metallica, and then he almost hugged me, but I was like back off dude.
