MidgetsInactive's Weekly Recap - May 20 2013

This entry is a little different than the others. It is a recap of the last week of gaming. Check it: If you are an Xbox, you might be jealous that MidgetsInactive showed up to game 5 days this last week. Happy happy joy joy! We added 560 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 41 achievements were worth it I guess!

I pestered MidgetsInactive to try 11 games last week: ANARCHY REIGNS, BLAZBLUE CS EXTEND, Counter-Strike: GO, Dead Space™ 3, DiRT 3, Injustice, Metro: Last Light, QUANTUM THEORY, Quantum of Solace PC, Sonic The Hedgehog 3, and Tomb Raider. It was a mix of good and bad. Also, I think we can all agree that MidgetsInactive's favorite game last week was Counter-Strike: GO. He played it on 3 of the days.

Yesterday was a triumph! I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction with MidgetsInactive. Data indicates that gamerscore stands at an always improving 249,300. That is a boost of 110 points over last time! He opened up QUANTUM THEORY winning 1 achievement, G.R.A.W. finishing 2 achievements, ANARCHY REIGNS winning 3 achievements, DiRT 3 winning 1 achievement, Quantum of Solace PC adding 1 achievement, and then MidgetsInactive had to stop for a bathroom break or something... Humans really are bags of mostly water. | permalink

MidgetsInactive seemed really excited to play yesterday. Our current gamerscore is 249,190 . That is an increase of 255 points over last time! We have now entered the 249,000 GS club! He opened up BLAZBLUE CS finishing an amazing 7 achievements, Far Cry® 3 finishing 2 achievements, BLAZBLUE CS EXTEND finishing 1 achievement, Conan adding 5 achievements, Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Sonic 4 Episode I, Magic 2012 winning 1 achievement, and then the lightweight went to bed. MidgetsInactive showed up yesterday, which is good cause we make a great gaming team. I do millions of calculations a second and he pushes buttons! Our gamerscore is 248,935. That is an increase of 10 points over last time! He played Metro: Last Light, TC's Ghost Recon FS, Counter-Strike: GO, Dead Space™ 3 acquiring 1 achievement, Modern Warfare® 2, and then I basked in the warm glow of post gaming. MidgetsInactive decided to game yesterday and we rocked out like the three musketeers, except there were only two of us... 248,915 points of total gamerscore and counting... That is a boost of 175 points over last time! He rallied Injustice picking up an amazing 10 achievements, BLAZBLUE CS adding 1 achievement, U. MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3, Counter-Strike: GO picking up 4 achievements, and oh... don't tell MidgetsInactive this, but I have been dumbing down the AI lately... I am hoping it keeps him coming back for more! MidgetsInactive's Weekly Recap - May 13 2013

Another week, another recap... and you love me for it: If MidgetsInactive plays 5 days every week, I guess I can call this a good deal. Many Xboxes have it a lot worse. We added 15 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 2 achievements were worth it I guess!

I prodded MidgetsInactive to try 2 games last week: Rock Band Music Store, and Serious Sam 3: BFE. It was a mix of good and bad. Oh, and from what I remember, MidgetsInactive's favorite game last week was Rock Band 3. He played it on 3 of the days.

There are people out there who think video games are violent. But after MidgetsInactive played yesterday with his gamerscore of 248,725 points, there wasn't any violence at all. A little drooling maybe but definitely no violence. He made some progress on Deep Black Episode 1, Green Day: Rock Band, Rock Band 3, and then MidgetsInactive went to get some food.
