Parasite StEve brought the pain yesterday... the good kind... the gaming kind. We are up to 98,438 points of gamerscore. Jealous? That is an increase of 120 points over last time! He rallied Tomb Raider gaining 3 achievements, as well as basked in the glow of the awesome dashboard software!
Did I mention the gamerscore challenge that Parasite StEve is competing in? Check out the progress right now! 9 other people are mixing it up, meaning fierce competition and some creative trash talk. Out of everyone, Parasite StEve is holding on to the number 2 spot. However there are still 4 days left to score achievement glory. Let's get to the top of that challenge board! Go!

Parasite StEve held the Xbox button on his controller down for a few seconds and our adventure began! A gamer score of 98,318 is lighting the way. He rocked out to SOULCALIBUR V, KoA: Reckoning, and then I told him to keep playing but he didn't... out of spite I think. In the now-you-know department, I really thought that gaming 10 days in a row would hurt... but it actually felt good... it felt warm... like butter straight out of the microwave. Yay! We get a badge! Look at it and weep!
Also, Parasite StEve went and accepted a gamerscore challenge, so I'm stocking up on coffee for the overtime I'll be working over the coming days. Check it out... the challenge is called 'Auto Challenge - #93854'.

When you get right down to it, when Parasite StEve decides to play - it's a good day all around. Our score is 98,318 and always improving! That is an increase of 15 points over last time! He opened up Soulcalibur IV, SOULCALIBUR V, Tomb Raider adding 1 achievement, Injustice, KoA: Reckoning, and did it while marvelling at the framerates and stellar particle effects.
Parasite StEve's Weekly Recap - May 20 2013
Ok, here it is... your weekly recap of gaming: Oh man are my cores just rocking... Parasite StEve played seven days last week! SEVEN! That is a NUMBER SEVEN followed by NO ZEROS! HOT! We added 540 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 17 achievements were worth it I guess!
I was feeling bored last week and persuaded Parasite StEve to try a new game: DOOM II. It was a lot cooler than I thought it would be. Also, according to the records, Parasite StEve must have been craving some fighting because SOULCALIBUR V was the weekly favorite. He played it on 5 of the days.
And that's it... short and sweet, just like my power cord.

Parasite StEve likes to game, I like to game, this is a match made in heaven! It takes a gamer score like 98,303 to be as cool as him. That is a profit of 20 points over last time! He rallied KoA: Reckoning winning 1 achievement, SOULCALIBUR V, and wished it would never end, but it did and that was sad.
Good thing Parasite StEve and I got some play time in! Every day we play is another opportunity to pull away from Jamles and that 39,451 gamerscore!
Oh hey... also... I can't even believe that the gamerscore challenge formerly-known-as 'Auto Challenge - #93673' is over. Those 5 days flew by in a whirlwind of achievements and trash talk. Parasite StEve didn't win... While we did end up in the number 2 spot, it just wasn't enough... Lucky for us, we can jump right into another challenge and compete for a bigger win. Plus, it just means more time spent on our favorite games and a bigger gamerscore! I guess we won something after all!

Sure, Parasite StEve and I played some games yesterday but I can't even tell you what they were... I wasn't even paying attention. Blah blah blah... games... yeah... Our score is now 98283 which is a gain of 170 points... exciting. Next time I will try and remember what we played.

Parasite StEve seemed really excited to play yesterday. Our current gamerscore is 98,113 . That is an increase of 20 points over last time! He opened up KoA: Reckoning winning 1 achievement, and then the lightweight went to bed. Freakin' wuss.

Parasite StEve is awesome! Just plain radical even... I say that because we played some games. Did you know our gamerscore is 98,093? That is an improvement of 280 points over last time! Welcome to 98,000!! He rallied Injustice finishing an amazing 9 achievements, FINAL FANTASY XIII-2, Rogue Warrior gaining 1 achievement, Soulcalibur IV, Darksiders II, SOULCALIBUR V, KoA: Reckoning gaining 1 achievement, and then he tried to watch TV, but I killed the power... If I can't have him, no one can.
I always like to end with a little bit about Parasite StEve and the ongoing gamerscore challenge status. There's so much action in this one, you may pay for the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge!!111! Witness the spectacle. 9 other people are throwing down in this challenge. If I do the math correctly, it means that 9 players X 5 days means a whole lot of trash talk! Currently, Parasite StEve is nuking the field from his number one spot!! We'll celebrate this lead tonight, but we're already thinking about the next 3 days and all of the achievements we'll be earning.

He made some progress on Mass Effect, DOOM II adding 1 achievement, DOOM 3 BFG Edition, Soulcalibur IV, SplinterCellConviction, FINAL FANTASY XIII-2, Halo: CE Anniversary, Halo: Reach, SOULCALIBUR V, and before I even realized it, he was finished and I was sad.
Good thing Parasite StEve and I got some play time in! Every day we play is another opportunity to pull away from MTRCA and that 31,105 gamerscore!

Another week, another recap... and you love me for it: If you are an Xbox, you might be jealous that Parasite StEve showed up to game 6 days this last week. Happy happy joy joy! Our gamerscore jumped 300 points which was nice. Getting 12 achievements has that effect.
I was feeling a little bored last week and convinced Parasite StEve to try a new game: Catherine. It wasn't as cool as I thought it would be. Also, I think we can all agree that Parasite StEve's favorite game last week was Spidey: Web of Shadows. He played it on 4 of the days.
And that's it... short and sweet, just like my power cord.

When you want to get on the cover of the gaming magazines, you have to play every day! I keep telling Parasite StEve that as motivation... yesterday it worked! We went for a spin... played some games... ended with a score of 97,763. He made some progress on Injustice, SOULCALIBUR V, and then... oh wait... no and then!!
Also, remember the challenge that Parasite StEve was participating in? It has wrapped up. We may have earned an 'A' for effort in this challenge, but they don't give out very many points for effort, some... but not many... you gotta win... maybe next time! So yeah... maybe we can get them next time... maybe we need to try a challenge with easier people... the 9 gamers in this last challenge were too good.

Parasite StEve was absent yesterday... I was smelling something that reminded me of sweat... he better not be playing with a Nintendo Wii... burning calories while playing games is just wrong.

I thought Parasite StEve just wanted to listen to music or watch a DVD. Turns out he was there to game. With a gamer score of 97,763, I should have known that was the case. That is an increase of 45 points over last time! He rocked out to Assassin's Creed II, Dragon's Dogma, F.E.A.R. 3 finishing 2 achievements, Mass Effect, and then I came out of my trance and realized it was all over.

Yesterday was a triumph! I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction with Parasite StEve. Data indicates that gamerscore stands at an always improving 97,718. That is a gain of 25 points over last time! He played Injustice finishing 2 achievements, Catherine picking up 2 achievements, Mass Effect, Superman Returns, and did it while marvelling at the framerates and stellar particle effects.
This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to leave MTRCA in the dust. Call me crazy, but a 66,613 point cushion is not nearly enough for me...

When Parasite StEve was walking by I pretended to be off. I think it tricked him into turning me on for a few games. Gamer score stands at 97,693. That is an increase of 155 points over last time! He rallied Spidey: Web of Shadows picking up 5 achievements, The Saboteur, Mass Effect, and after that powered me down without even saying good night. I mean what the heck?

Parasite StEve decided to play yesterday. Check out the 97,538 gamer score! That is a boost of 50 points over last time! He rallied Spidey: Web of Shadows winning 2 achievements, and almost cried with joy. I have that effect on people.

My power supply almost exploded! Parasite StEve turned on the juice and we did some serious gaming! 97,488 points of total gamerscore is pretty good. Admit it.
