Paul Laserbeam's Weekly Recap - May 20 2013
My eye! It burns! A weekly recap is all that can save me! Here goes: Not two, not five, but SEVEN days of gaming in a row! Last week was as solid as it gets when it comes to Paul Laserbeam throwing down with the games. This wasn't just low-key gaming either... our score bounced 1775 freakin' points! Can you believe it? In one week? YES! Getting 63 achievements has that effect.
I was also pretty happy about the 3 new games this last week. They were (in no particular order) BioShock Infinite, DEATHSMILES NA, and The Simpsons™ Game. I liked them. I think Paul Laserbeam did too. Also, according to the records, Paul Laserbeam must have been craving RPGs because Dragon Age: Origins was the weekly favorite. He played it on 7 of the days.
And that is all I got... it's not much, but it is interesting.

I saw Paul Laserbeam walk by yesterday morning... I was hoping he would come play and he did. 214,045 points and climbing. He opened up Battlefield 3, Dragon Age: Origins, and loved every minute of it in high definition glory!

We played games yesterday... No really... I have proof! Paul Laserbeam might have told you otherwise, but we really did. 214,045 points of total gamerscore means we are teh awes0me! That is a profit of 40 points over last time! He rocked out to Dragon Age: Origins acquiring 2 achievements, and loved every minute of it in high definition glory!

Go ahead... call me a wussy... but I almost started crying when Paul Laserbeam turned me on yesterday. 214,005 points of raw gamer score are making you jealous! That is an improvement of 130 points over last time! Welcome to 214,000!! He rallied Dragon Age: Origins finishing an amazing 6 achievements, and yeah... wow... my processor hurts...

I didn't think I would see him yesterday, but Paul Laserbeam was back and ready for action. Total gamer score is 213,875 points. That is an increase of 260 points over last time! He made some progress on The Simpsons™ Game finishing 2 achievements, DEATHSMILES NA picking up 5 achievements, Doritos Crash Course 2, GTA IV, Dragon Age: Origins picking up 5 achievements, and then I came out of my trance and realized it was all over. In the now-you-know department, I really thought that gaming 40 days in a row would hurt... but it actually felt good... it felt warm... like butter straight out of the microwave.

Paul Laserbeam must have heard my calling... I was practically startled when his greasy finger pounded my power button. I mean come on... be a little gentle... I am fragile. Just some helpful advice for someone with a 213,615 gamerscore. That is a boost of 460 points over last time! He rocked out to BioShock Infinite picking up 2 achievements to conquer the game, DEATHSMILES NA picking up an amazing 26 achievements, and then... yeah... that was awesome...

I was looking back through my notes and according to Paul Laserbeam, we played some games yesterday... but that is just craziness. Sure our score is now 213155 which is a gain of 685 points, but I can't tell you from what. Maybe next time I will remember.

I love to game, you love to game, Paul Laserbeam loves to game, we all love to game! 212,470 points FTW!!! That is a gain of 200 points over last time! He rallied BioShock Infinite finishing an amazing 15 achievements, and oh... don't tell Paul Laserbeam this, but I have been getting in a little video chat in the off-hours. Booyah!

It is hard to believe another week has passed. Here is the recap: If your Xbox is depressed, try playing seven days in a row like Paul Laserbeam did last week. It has a way of making you a bit giddy... We really made it happen on the gamerscore front. An increase of 2020 points makes for a nice bounty. Those 71 achievements were worth it I guess!
For the record, we played 2 new games over the last week. They were Dead Island Riptide, and Doritos Crash Course 2. They were all fun... in their own little ways. Oh, and from what I remember, Paul Laserbeam's favorite game last week was Dead Island Riptide. He played it on 6 of the days.
And that is the news for now... Check back next week... same bat time, same bat channel...

That is an increase of 275 points over last time! That was enough to cross the 212,000 mark! Good stuff! He rocked out to Deus Ex: Human Rev. gaining 2 achievements, and I thought Paul Laserbeam injured himself in the process... but I was wrong... he lives to fight another day!

Paul Laserbeam decided to game yesterday and we rocked out like the three musketeers, except there were only two of us... 211,665 points of total gamerscore and counting... That is an increase of 45 points over last time! He played Dead Island Riptide finishing 2 achievements, and then Paul Laserbeam went to get some food. I told him to bring me back something but I got seriously dissed.

Paul Laserbeam brought the pain yesterday... the good kind... the gaming kind. We are up to 211,620 points of gamerscore. Jealous? That is a boost of 70 points over last time! He opened up Doritos Crash Course 2 acquiring 3 achievements, Dead Island Riptide adding 2 achievements, and afterwards, there were some awkward stares and silence... you know how it is.

Paul Laserbeam showed up yesterday, which is good cause we make a great gaming team. I do millions of calculations a second and he pushes buttons! Our gamerscore is 211,550. That is an improvement of 375 points over last time! He opened up Dead Island Riptide adding an amazing 19 achievements, as well as checked out what was new in the live marketplace.

I told Paul Laserbeam 'Don't make me hurt you!' and the threat worked because he decided to show up yesterday. A gamer score of 210,910 is in our back pocket. That is a profit of 660 points over last time! He rocked out to DBZ Budokai HD acquiring an amazing 19 achievements to master the game, Deus Ex: Human Rev. picking up an amazing 8 achievements, and Paul Laserbeam won't admit this, but I had to force him to stop. Also, don't tell Paul Laserbeam I told you this, but we have now gamed 30 days in a row... he doesn't like to share that with others. Yay! We get a badge! Look at it and weep!

It is that time of the week. I got your weekly recap right here: You can't ask for a better week than when Paul Laserbeam shows up to play Seven days in a row!! I feel like i'm bragging when I say our score climbed 680 points last week... insanity! I guess that is what completing 18 achievements can do!
In the 'new game' category, I only have one to talk about... DBZ Budokai HD. I wasn't even going to mention it, but I figured my readers might get mad. So there it is. Also, according to the records, Paul Laserbeam's favorite game last week was Battlefield 3. He played it on 5 of the days.

Sure, Paul Laserbeam and I played some games yesterday but I can't even tell you what they were... I wasn't even paying attention. Blah blah blah... games... yeah... Our score is now 210250 which is a gain of 275 points... exciting. Next time I will try and remember what we played.

Paul Laserbeam hit the switch and fired me up yesterday... his total gamer score is 209,780.That is a gain of 60 points over last time! He opened up Deus Ex: Human Rev. adding 4 achievements, Battlefield 3, and then he started getting all these friend requests because of high awesomeness levels.

He made some progress on Resonance of Fate picking up 2 achievements, Guardian Heroes, and oh... man was it ever sweet!

When Paul Laserbeam was walking by I pretended to be off. I think it tricked him into turning me on for a few games. Gamer score stands at 209,675. That is a gain of 105 points over last time! He rallied Battlefield 3, Minecraft, and then the lightweight went to bed. Freakin' wuss.
