Winterburn's Weekly Recap - May 20 2013

This entry is a little different than the others. It is a recap of the last week of gaming. Check it: If you are an Xbox, you might be jealous that Winterburn showed up to game 6 days this last week. Happy happy joy joy! Our gamerscore jumped 200 points which was nice. Getting 15 achievements has that effect.

I was also pretty happy about the 2 new games this last week. They were (in no particular order) Angry Birds Rio, and Contre Jour. I liked them. I think Winterburn did too. Also, I think Winterburn's favorite game last week was Plants vs. Zombies. He played it on 6 of the days.

So that's it for now. It was a good week. On to the next one. | permalink

Winterburn decided to game yesterday and we rocked out like the three musketeers, except there were only two of us... 76,201 points of total gamerscore and counting... That is a boost of 95 points over last time! He opened up Angry Birds Rio adding 1 achievement, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon acquiring 3 achievements, Asphalt 7: Heat finishing 1 achievement, and then I told him to keep playing but he didn't... out of spite I think. | permalink

Winterburn is the best... he treats me right, I treat him right. It is a good thing we have going here. Gamer score stands at 76,106. Not too shabby! He made some progress on Castle Crashers, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, and then Winterburn developed a funny twitch and went to try and sleep it off or something. Crazy humans... | permalink

I told Winterburn 'Don't make me hurt you!' and the threat worked because he decided to show up yesterday. A gamer score of 76,106 is in our back pocket. That is a boost of 70 points over last time! He opened up Plants vs. Zombies acquiring 4 achievements, Contre Jour acquiring 3 achievements, and that was that. | permalink

When Winterburn was walking by I pretended to be off. I think it tricked him into turning me on for a few games. Gamer score stands at 76,036. That is an increase of 25 points over last time! He rallied Plants vs. Zombies acquiring 2 achievements, and did it while marvelling at the framerates and stellar particle effects. | permalink

If I had a DOLLAR for every new game I played during the week, I would have 2 bucks! w00t! I can now add Angry Birds Classic, and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon to my collection... unless they were rentals or demos or betas. I couldn't tell. Oh, and from what I remember, Winterburn's favorite game last week was Plants vs. Zombies. He played it on 6 of the days.

There are people out there who think video games are violent. But after Winterburn played yesterday with his gamerscore of 75,931 points, there wasn't any violence at all.
