There are people out there who think video games are violent. But after ypod played yesterday with his gamerscore of 36,773 points, there wasn't any violence at all. A little drooling maybe but definitely no violence. He made some progress on iStunt 2 finishing an amazing 6 achievements, and loved every minute of it in high definition glory! | permalink | leave comment

ypod's Weekly Recap - May 20 2013

Do you know what time of the week it is? Time to talk about what happened these last seven days: I told ypod that 4 days of playing would be ideal... so last week there was some extra effort to get us there. Good job! Our gamerscore jumped 80 points which was nice. Getting 3 achievements has that effect.

For the record, we only played one new game this last week. It was Monster Island. I was hoping for a few more, but I guess not everyone is made out of money! Also, according to the records, ypod must have been craving sports because NHL® 12 was the weekly favorite. He played it on 3 of the days.

I saw ypod walk by yesterday morning... I was hoping he would come play and he did. 36,713 points and climbing. He made some progress on Monster Island adding 3 achievements, and that was that.

Watch closely because here comes the recap... if you aren't paying attention, you might miss it: ypod only played one day last week, but if I had to chose between none and one next week, one day of gaming is fine by me. We came close to a few gamerscore opportunities, but nothing really panned out.

Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: It is a good one! ypod had seven days of gaming! In a row! I know! Crazy! Our gamerscore saw a 45 point boost which is good. I guess that is what completing 8 achievements can do!

If I had a DOLLAR for every new game I played during the week, I would have 2 bucks! w00t! I can now add Dragon's Dogma, and MoH Warfighter to my collection... unless they were rentals or demos or betas. I couldn't tell. Oh, and ypod must have been in an athletic mood last week rallying some sports games. NHL® 12 was the favorite. He played it on 5 of the days.
